This is my first original composition after a 25-year break from playing the piano. It was inspired by the pieces I revisited or learned during my first year of returning to this beautiful instrument. Creating this music was a journey of rediscovery, blending nostalgia and fresh emotions into something uniquely mine.

Not a song about my mum, but a piece of music I played to her many times.  Written about 30 years ago, it's about the horrors of the classical view of heaven, a place where the queue for the bar is a mile and a half, all they serve is lemonade, the weather is the same every day and no-one remembers your name.

The image is of my mum.  It's beautiful.  On the back she has written "I told you I could fly".  We'll never know who took it or who she was referring to.  It's a moment of happiness and hope, never forgotten.

This music includes all of the suffers, regrets and the times in my life that have been rejected from all the people and being in an absolute loneliness. All of this causes the time being far away from society and that was the new me and the death of previous me.
