Trancesynthesis Episode One Hundred and Twenty Eight - Slipmat

Played a version of this set on three separate occasions last 4th of July weekend! One was at one of the biggest nightclubs in San Diego, Bloom Nightclub, another was during the day at Mission Bay during the 4th, so many people dancing in the water and on the sand. The 3rd was at a cheeky little espresso martini bar, Bar Ella in Pacific Beach. Cool little vibe amidst the PB chaos. It was a dancefloor groover at all of these venues, so I had to come back and record it all for you to listen to as many times as you like ;). 2000s Prog Style Mix

Karsten Kolbe aka 44Achtzig, ist am 4.4.1980 in Eisenhüttenstadt geboren. In seiner Heimatstadt gab es nur Beton und Musik. In frühen Jahren begann 44Achtzig seine ersten musikalischen Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Mit 16 Jahren war er schon viel mit Ecraft unterwegs. Durch die EBM- Szene wurde man auf 44Achtzig aufmerksam. Sein unfassbares Talent in der Musikproduktion sprach sich schnell rum. Es gab viele Termine und Gelegenheiten die 44Achtzig nicht wahrgenommen hat. Er wollte schon immer sein eigenes Ding machen! "Wenn Du es nicht selber machst, macht es keiner mit so viel Herz!" Zitat: 44Achtzig. Heute hat 44Achtzig sein eigenes Label gegründet und steht bei der Midasmanufaktur, einem Kunst & Musik Café, unter Vertrag. Richtig gelesen, 44Achtzig & LJ sind ein Künstlerpaar, mit eigenem Kunst & Musik Café am Start, wo hin und wieder auch die Hüfte, auf verschiedenen Veranstaltungen, geschwungen wird. 44Achtzig hat mittlerweile ein ganzes Team in seiner Produktionsfirma und lässt auch hier Arbeitsplätze entstehen. "Nur durch gutes Personal bleibt ein Musiker am Leben. Ein Dankeschön an meine Crew an der Stelle!" Zitat: 44Achtzig. 

Perfect Poise has always been a devoted follower of that classic Hard House sound, having played at various parties and raves through most of the naughties, Perfect Poise's Productions are beginning to attract alot of attention!
After winning the "All Alone" Remix competition, Perfect Poise has secured a release on RIOT! Recordings not only for the remix, but his next original production! (Watch This Space...)

Raised in Victoria, BC, Alexander Brendan Ferguson is a musician, singer, songwriter, keyboardist, film & television/theatre composer, music producer, and teacher.   With a deep love of pop, funk, R&B, jazz, and soul, he has released two singles, "Get What You Need" and "Afterglow”, featuring his smooth vocals, agile keyboard playing, and tight, punchy production.  As a producer and songwriter, he has also produced and written songs for The Soul Shakers’ albums "Love Is Love”, "Ready for You”, and Impulse Response’s EP "Light Waves”.  He co-wrote and produced Christine Upright’s singles “Sacred Note” and “My Woodland Fairy Tale”.

Alexander is a two time Leo Award nominated film & television composer.  With a background in acting and theatre, he brings a strong intuition to musical storytelling, composing music that can both support a scene and help it come alive.  He has written the scores for the Orca Cove Media films "The Great Salish Heist, "A Cedar Is Life" (Leo nomination*), "Tzouhalem" (Leo nomination*), "Dust n' Bones", and the LessBland Productions film "Gone South: How Canada Invented Hollywood”.  He was also the composer for the Orca Cove Media series "Ollie & Emma" and the LessBland Productions series "She Kills Me”, “Wine Guys: Grape Escapes", "Tips and Tricks for Everyday Living", and "Muscle Muse".  Alexander is currently composing music for the Orca Cove Media film "Tzinquaw Opera”.

Alexander’s vibrant love of theatre has lead him to compose music and create sound for many theatre companies on Vancouver Island and in Vancouver including Kaleidoscope Theatre, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Pi Theatre, The Only Animal, Blackbird Theatre, Solo Collective, and Gateway Theatre.  He holds a BFA in theatre from the University of Victoria - Acting Specialisation, was in the Charlottetown Festival Young Company, did an acting and sound design apprenticeship at the Chemainus Theatre Festival, and studied at Canada's National Voice Intensive.

He is a founding member, singer, and keyboardist for both the Alexander Ferguson Trio and the soul/pop band Impulse Response.  He also plays keyboards and sings with the R&B band, The Soul Shakers.  Alexander was a founding member, singer, and keyboardist with the rhythm, blues, and groove band, Momentum.  He has played at venues all over Victoria, Vancouver Island, and beyond and at festivals such as The Victoria Dragon Boat Festival, The Nanaimo Summertime Blues Festival, The Oak Bay Tea Party, Saanich Fair, The Victoria Blues Bash, BC Smoke Shop Harbour Blues 'N Roots Festival, and The TD International Victoria Jazz Festival (including opening for St. Paul & the Broken Bones with Impulse Response at The Royal Theatre).
