Ode to Odette is written about the December 2021 Supertyphoon called Odette that devastated 9 islands in the Philippines, including mine, leaving us with a dark Christmas season. It is a quiet but fun folk track, with a hooky whistle chorus channelling a Western vibe. It is a tribute to surviving, learning, pickup the pieces and letting go.

A blues rock, dark americana track in a minor key, built on steady fingerpicked acoustic guitar and deep baritone vocals, Electric guitar offers tasteful melodic fills and a dynamic solo, while the bass holds a supportive, simple groove, Mid-tempo drums pulse throughout, The arrangement emphasizes clean, natural production, centering the acoustic guitar and vocal, with chorus sections marked by heightened electric guitar interplay
