Gourmandinho, c’est avant tout quelqu’un qui aime profondément la musique, et surtout la musique électronique. Plus jeune, j’ai commencé par le hardcore, la frenchcore et la tribe dans le milieu de la teuf, avant de glisser presque naturellement vers l’univers psychédélique. 
Les rencontres, les expériences un peu hors du commun et hors du temps m’y ont conduit. Je dis souvent que j’ai eu une seconde naissance à mon premier Ozora. Depuis, la psytrance et tout ce qui touche au psyché nourrissent mon esprit depuis plus de douze ans.
 Je joue aussi du handpan : un instrument dont les sonorités réveillent les sens, ouvrent l’imaginaire et installent un calme qui me ressemble beaucoup. 
Au fil de mes voyages et des festivals, j’ai affiné mon oreille et affirmé mes envies artistiques.
 En 2022, j’ai rejoint le crew des Voisines à La Réunion, et c’est grâce à eux que j’ai pu m’exprimer librement, sans filtre. Puis en 2025, Psymoun est né, créé avec trois potes. Un nouveau collectif dédié entièrement à des événements psychédéliques sur l’île... et c’est là que je me suis senti le plus aligné, le plus épanoui.
 Mon registre va de la psyprog à la psy hypnotic, de la psytrance jusqu’à la groovy, la forest et même la hitech. Chaque style réveille quelque chose de différent chez moi. Quand je mixe, mon but est simple : vous faire entrer dans mon univers complètement psyché, vous plonger dans un tunnel sonore fait de textures, d’énergie… et de boucles qui n’en finissent jamais.

Bionix is the Psytrance project of Jean-Marc Segondy, a seasoned artist and sound engineer with over 25 years' experience in the electronic scene. His journey began at an early age, exploring synthesis and composition before fully immersing himself in the world of Psytrance. Having co-founded XSI and United Beats Records, projects that have taken him to some of the world's biggest stages, Bionix has since forged his own sonic identity, delivering energetic, dancefloor-focused music with a deep psychedelic essence.

Jean-Marc has collaborated with and remixed some of the biggest names on the Psytrance scene, including GMS, Astrix, Talamasca, Pixel, MadMaxx and many others. His productions, released on renowned labels such as Hommega, Phantasm Records, Sahman Records, Nutek Records, Dacru Records, United Beats Records and Iono Music , showcase his characteristic blend of powerful bass lines, complex sound design and immersive atmospheres.

Beyond his career as an artist, Jean-Marc is also a highly respected sound engineer and founder of 7Art Studio Mastering , where he provides first-rate mixing and mastering services to producers worldwide. In 2025 , he launched his own label, 7Art Sound Records , dedicated to promoting innovative, high-quality Psytrance music.

With an unwavering passion for sonic perfection and a natural instinct for igniting dance floors, Bionix continues to shape the future of Psytrance, both as a creator and as a key figure in the evolution of the scene. 🚀🎶
