In the immortal words of Don Draper: what is happiness? It's the moment before you want more happiness. Because the pursuit of hapiness chains us and imprisones us into doing only the things that make us "happy". You want more. People want do DO something. Change something. Create something, if you like. Whatever. 
The pursuit of happiness only ends up making you miserable and tied down. You only end up trying to break those chains (and feeling guilty for doing it) and you're not aware you created them in your search for happiness.

Julian Assange está libre.

Tras un calvario judicial de 14 años, que incluyó más de cinco años de detención en la hostil prisión de máxima seguridad de Belmarsh, en Londres, el fundador del sitio web de denuncias WikiLeaks llegó a un acuerdo con Estados Unidos y se declaró culpable de un solo delito grave de obtención y divulgación de material clasificado de seguridad nacional. El tribunal dictaminó: ”sentencia cumplida”.

Assange compareció ante el Tribunal Federal de Distrito de Estados Unidos en las Islas Marianas del Norte, donde la jueza Ramona Manglona expresó: “Este proceso judicial termina aquí, conmigo, en [la isla de] Saipán […]; podrá salir de esta sala como un hombre libre”. Y agregó: “Tengo entendido que la semana que viene es su cumpleaños. Espero que comience su nueva vida de manera positiva”.

La odisea legal de Assange incluyó un año de arresto domiciliario en una casa de campo en Inglaterra; siete años de confinamiento en las reducidas instalaciones de la Embajada ecuatoriana en Londres en calidad de asilado político; y, finalmente, más de cinco años en la prisión de Belmarsh. Assange estaba luchando contra una posible extradición a Estados Unidos, donde podría haber recibido una sentencia de hasta 175 años de prisión.

Analizez un eseu despre religie scris de Schopenhauer, în care germanul creează două personaje în opoziție: Philalethes (ateu „Nietzschean”) și Demopheles (religios „Dostoievskian”), după care citez un articol scris de Žižek în 2024 despre o interpretare mai neobișnuită asupra ultimului roman al lui Dostoievski, Frații Karamazov.

Majoritatea cadrelor (B-rolls) au fost filmate de mine în Firenze (Florența), Italia în aprile 2024 (de la străzi la Palatul Pitti și Muzeul Uffizi).
