Welcome to No.ID PODCAST SESSIONS! This week, we are thrilled to showcase the unique sound of Mateo Gómez a.k.a. De Los Cielos, a boundary-pushing artist whose sets merge tribal techno and Latin club with dub infusions and touches of breaks, bass, and electro. His approach is cinematic and layered, crafting a sonic narrative that feels both primal and futuristic.

If this DJ set were an object, it would be a toy robot made of metal—cold and heavy, yet innocent and resilient, a paradox between playfulness and weight. The atmosphere it emanates is that of a humid jungle after rainfall, an earthy, thick scent that clings to memory like damp leaves after a storm.

Created during a state of sadness and nostalgia softened by acceptance and peace, this mix carries emotional depth beneath its rhythmic intensity. It is both cathartic and grounding, with basslines that comfort while pushing listeners into motion.

The world De Los Cielos evokes is dystopian and cinematic: a future where humans coexist uneasily with robots and androids after AI has taken control. In this narrative, the tribal percussions embody humanity’s raw and instinctual roots, while the electro and break-driven elements reflect the uncertainty of a technological future. It’s a story of tension and coexistence, a sonic metaphor for survival, irony, and transformation.

En la escena underground cordobesa, Obscure Sound se ha hecho un nombre con su sonido propio y distintivo: el "Drum a 33", un subgénero inexplorado del Break Beat caracterizado por cajas con ritmos agresivos y atmósferas oscuras que mantienen viva la esencia auténtica del BreakBeat.

Ha compartido escenarios con referentes del género como Plump Djs, Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, Ed Solo, Rasco, Brainkiller,  Mbreaks,  Bowser, Aggresivnes, Guau, Tortu, Karpin, Norbak, Jose Rodríguez, Godino, Reality, RkR, Dmaya, Gone y Kipper, ha actuado en salas de renombre como New Theatre y Even en Sevilla.

Obscure Sound no solo representa una propuesta sonora única, sino también una conexión profunda con la historia y el alma del Break Beat underground.

Andalusian DJ and producer born in Córdoba, passionate about Breakbeat from a very young age. Although he officially began DJing in 2022, he has spent years cultivating and developing his ear for the genre, immersing himself deeply in its roots and variations.

In the Córdoba underground scene, Obscure Sound has made a name for himself with his own distinctive sound: "Drum a 33," an unexplored subgenre of Breakbeat characterized by aggressive drum snares and dark atmospheres that keep Breakbeat's dark and authentic essence alive.

He has shared stages with genre icons such ass Plump Djs, Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, Ed Solo, Rasco, Brainkiller, Mbreaks, Bowser, Aggresivnes, Guau, Tortu, Karpin, Norbak, Jose Rodríguez, Godino, Reality, RkR, Dmaya, Gone and Kipper, and has performed at renowned venues such as New Theatre and Sala Even in Seville
