"Dingles View" was later remake as "Wandering" in the soundtrack music collection for the anime "Haibane Renmei".

This song is dedicated to the most touching and heartwarming story I have ever seen in my life. Haibane Renmei (Ailes Grises) — an old house and the tale of Reki and Rakka will forever remain in my heart and memory.

You know... Sometimes, once every few years, between Christmas and New Year, I rewatch Haibane Renmei (Ailes Grises). This story has always felt a little sad to me, but at the same time, it brought warmth and a sense of hope, even in the hardest of times.

This year, I watched the story of the Haibane again, and... it broke my heart. This time, in the end, all I could see was the weight of parting. And farewells... forever.

Perhaps my life has changed a lot over the years, and now the same beautiful, heartfelt story feels completely different. I watched the final episode with a lump in my throat, clenching my teeth so hard it hurt, just to stop myself from bursting into tears like a child who’s lost their most beloved stuffed toy—the one they’ve fallen asleep with every night.

I still love Haibane Renmei, deeply. But now, every time I rewatch it, my heart will break again... and again... and again. Until, one fateful day, my own day of flight will come. Oh, but I’m just human, and I don’t have wings. For me, it’ll all end far more prosaically, six feet underground.
