i've been working on an arrangement cover for years now, because back before, there wasn't an official link to the instrumental anymore after he took down his piapro account, so i tried to make my own instrumental. this project has taken on 3 major updates with each one sounding more different then the other.

"Black Out" is a philosophical journey that delves into the conflicts and complexities of human nature, expressed through music. This track centers on two opposing selves locked in an intense struggle between truth and self-deception, responsibility, and evasion. This conflict is not just a dramatic narrative but also an inquiry into what "absolute evil" truly is and how it begins and amplifies within us. Musically, we aimed to fuse the raw energy of rock with the refined elements of K-pop to imbue the story with dynamic intensity. Rather than simply juxtaposing the two genres, we sought to construct a synergy where their strengths would deepen the essence of the narrative. Explosive guitar riffs and drums symbolize inner rage and suppressed desires, while delicate melodies and restrained electronic sounds capture moments of introspection and glimpses of hope amidst despair. This layered soundscape vividly reflects the theme of "inner conflict." In "Black Out," the "absolute evil" we sought to explore is not an external force but the cracks and chaos that originate within human beings. Evil often takes root in the responsibility we avoid and the self-deceptions we cling to. This song attempts to capture that process, highlighting how evil begins in moments of self-denial yet holds the possibility of being overcome through the courage to face it. We hope this song serves not merely as a release of emotion or a delivery of a message but as a mirror for listeners to reflect upon themselves.
