정신을 차리고 앞을 바라보니 나를 쫓아 왔던 거인이 나를 바라보고 있었다. 나는 거인의 큼직한 외눈과 마주쳤다. 그 눈 속에서 무언가를 발견했는데, 바로 내가 도망치고 싶었던 나의 모습이었다. 나의 두려움은 외눈박이 거인이 되어 나를 찾아왔던 것이다.
