Welcome to the world of vinyl enka! 🎶

This playlist is a medley of tunes that are near and dear to the heart of modern Japan, or perhaps fading from memory—think enka, folk songs, and ondo.

⭐️ What's special about this medley? ⭐️

⭕️ Most of the tracks were recorded on vinyl records, mainly from the '80s (the Showa era).

⭕️ The medley lasts about 30 minutes, so it fits comfortably on a 60-minute cassette tape, giving you that satisfying feeling of a perfect fit.

⭕️ For the best experience, we recommend listening with headphones, boomboxes, your prized car stereo, or a proper audio setup.

You can't hear the diction and accent that is characteristic of trot.
That's what's attractive.

My mother is strong, despite her beautiful voice.
Even when she gets seriously ill, she comes back quietly and suddenly.
I wonder if we should worry.

Just like a difficult math problem that can't be solved,
It's hard for children to understand their parents' hearts.

I wish my mother, and all parents in the world,
Could live long, healthy, and happy lives.

I still think of it all the time.
The trot melody, which is as shy and trembling as my mother's adolescence, keeps me up at night again today.

어머니는 트로트를 아주 고운 톤으로 부르신다. 
트로트 특유의 딕션과 악센트는 들을 수 없다. 
그게 매력적이다.

어머니는 고운 목소리와는 다르게 강인하시다.
큰 병이 나셔도 조용히 홀연히 다녀오신다.
우리가 걱정할까 바이다.

마치 풀리지 않는 어려운 수학 문제처럼
자식은 부모님의 마음을 헤아리기 어렵다.

나의 어머니가, 세상의 모든 부모님이
오래오래 건강하고 행복하게 사시면 좋겠다.

지금도 늘 생각이 난다.

当店は想像以上にプログレッシブな演歌を中心に、心くすぐる”ビニール盤の世界に誘います。音源はアナログレコード（バイナル、ビニール）盤❣️

ここに挙げる複数のメドレーは、1990年初頭まで発売されていた演歌のレコード盤を軸に、スナックひろが新たな解釈でメドレー化したものです。時代の流れか演歌のレコード盤は1990年以後、プレスされることがほとんど無くなりました。ミュージックテープは根強く続いていますけどね‼️

今後はメドレーシリーズやリミックス、オリジナル音源をアップロード予定していますのでお楽しみに‼️

なお、一部を除きメドレーは30分前後で完結していますので、60分カセットテープに吹き込み（ダビング）ますと途切れずに両面お楽しみいただけます。
