Lyra Echo’s third studio album, "Pendulum’s Glitch", is a cyberpunk-existentialist manifesto that bridges the gap between Umberto Eco’s philosophical skepticism and the transhumanist reality of 2043.

Drawing deeply from the literary themes of Foucault’s Pendulum, the album posits that humanity is trapped in a "Plan" of its own making—a suffocating web of conspiracies, social algorithms, and artificial narratives ("Narrative Skin", "Algorithm P"). The Pendulum represents the indifferent, fixed point of the universe: the unyielding laws of history, biology, and fate. Lyra Echo, however, introduces herself as the "Glitch": the anomaly that refuses to swing in rhythm with the established order.

Through tracks like "Body Redesign" and "Pendulum's Glitch," Lyra deconstructs the sanctity of the biological body and the linear flow of time. She launches a sonic assault on modern systems of control—challenging the predatory nature of digital capitalism ("Tiger is a Scammer"), the obsolescence of the old industry ("Dinosaur Logic"), and the commodification of the human soul ("Prostitute").

"Pendulum’s Glitch" is not merely a collection of songs; it is a question posed to the listener: Are you the master of your reality, or just a variable in a narrative you didn't write? It is a call to break the cycle, shatter the mirror, and embrace the chaos of the new flesh.

In 2021 Dr. Shock had a life threatening situation that changed him forever. Shock survived and decided he had neglected his position as a musician. He talked to other musician friends and they thought it would be a good idea to start AudioKronic.
