When The Consul finds out, he is filled with rage and summons a mob to torture him and severs his hand, fixing a dirty, rusty hook. Some still hear it screeching till this day.
They smeared him with honey; the bees attracted, stinging until his flesh was swollen.
Next came the flames consuming his flesh, burning him at the stake with voodoo, his curses on the town to a terrible fate.
To this day, the folklore explains, stand before the mirror, chant his name “Candyman” three times. Bees will buzz, and he will appear and rip you apart and take your heart!
