🔥 'Eddy' Edwards is a musician who, during his early career, he played lead guitar in various rock bands. He now plays synthesizers and keyboards when producing tracks, indulging in his love of trance music.. 

🔥 Eddy fell in love with trance music during the 90's, but his music career encompassed all things rock and guitar. Until now! 

🔥 His passion for trance music has ignited his resurgence into the music scene, and he now produces and plays everything from uplifting vocal trance and instrumental, to pop music and euro-dance.

🔥 Eddy's dream would be for one of the top DJ's (Giuseppe Ottaviani, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Lange, Craig Connelly etc) to play one of his tracks in their live sets. Ultimately, to hear one of his tracks played at a major trance event such as 'Tomorrowland', 'Luminosity' or 'Transmission'.🙏🎹

I started out mixing hard trance on vinyl over 20 years ago, with Guyver quickly becoming one of my favourite artists and Tidy Two one of my favourite labels. After a long break from mixing, I now use DVS and so enjoy mixing the latest uplifting releases along with hard trance which will always have a place in my heart. 

I love high energy tracks with great melodies which is reflected in my sets.

This is the man who loves to live life to the fullest.  Love music and my very best is listening to really good Trance music with wonderful melodies and vocals that just go straight to my soul 🫶

For many years, I have been playing and learning to be a DJ at home in my man cave. I have also delighted many of my friends by being in charge of DJ mixing at private partys. 

Now from november 2024 are my plan is to level up, and get more forward with building and delighting my fans around the world with wishes to mix live on a stage.
Already in the second half of 2025, I got to perform at Passion 4 Trance Events in Norway! Ørjan Nilsen, Ben Gold, and Lars Holte have also played on the same stage a few years earlier.

As I have invested a little in my hobby and have moved in with my partner, I have used the time of the relaxation from the household to become a better DJ.  
 
I have been to many celebrations since 2011 in Europe that have inspired me with joy with good music experiences in my heart!

It all started with Sensation White Prague, 2 times Ibiza Island, 4 Ultra Europe, 4 Transmission festival Prague, 3 A State of Trance festival 650, 700 and 1000 in Utrecht. And a flight package trip to Tomorrowland Belgium in 2018!

With over two decades behind the decks, DJ James Brooks has been a staple in the Midwest electronic music scene since 2001. Beginning his journey with trance before exploring progressive, breaks, techno, tech-funk, and house, his sound now thrives in the ever-evolving realm of progressive and its many subgenres. His dynamic sets have graced venues across Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville, Columbus, Indianapolis, and beyond. Along the way, he’s had the privilege of sharing stages with industry legends like Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate, ATB, Enamour, and Kimball Collins, as well as heavy hitters like The Crystal Method, Elite Force, Desert Dwellers, and AK1200. In 2023, James took his artistry to the next level, diving into music production, further solidifying his passion and commitment to the electronic music community.
