jungle mit strudel

A little space to show off my music collection from time to time. 

Most mixes will focus on drum and bass/jungle music which I grew up with and was heavily influenced by in the early to mid 90's. There will be a whole host of other genres that cover a wide spectrum of influences that come deep rooted from my upbringing and curiosity. Hopefully you'll enjoy the channel via similar tastes or perhaps discover something new, even if old, and that's the beauty of music, it's timeless.

When the mood takes these uploads are done for the love of the music and appreciation of the artists/labels.

in 1996 went I went to midi school under the tutelage of matt lloyd at plumstead manor with a plan to try making techno (having followed the scene around sheffield, detroit, and berlin), but everyone else on the course was enjoying the golden age of drum and bass. 

most of the tracks here were made as attempts to incorporate ideas from music i was listening to at the time, so i suppose that making music is another way of enjoying the music of others.
