Great 70's song from ELO (Jeff Lynne)  The whole album was awesome, A New World Record.   Cool ballad about a man on the telephone line, hoping his girl will pick up.  Cool sounds in the recording as well.   Piano version turned out very nice.

"Superman" is a 1977 disco novelty song written by Puerto Rican producer/songwriter José "Pepe" Luis Soto for American singer Celi Bee (Celida Ines Camacho) and her group, The Buzzy Bunch.  Celi Bee and the Buzzy Bunch originally recorded the song for their 1977 album, which also included the Disco hit One Love.The catchy and suggestive lyrics include the repeating line, "Superman, you make me feel I'm the queen of the world". I revamped it for listening pleasure only. Enjoy !
