For our 34th release on Bitten we are happy to welcome PLEASUREKRAFT, JACEO and VEDIC. 

What do you get when you fuse together some of Swedens and Americas finest techno? The answer is PLEASUREKRAFT, the artistic project by Kaveh Soroush (USA) and Kalle Ronngardh (Sweden).  Their music is a simultaneously visceral and cerebral experience induced only by a seductive, deep, groove heavy, underground techno inspired music. You can find them anywhere, in the studio or in the clubs, basically anywhere where organically inspired synthetic music lurks, ready to jump in your skin and make you move! 

Also from America are the brothers JACEO and VEDIC (Jerameel and Jeziel Quintela). Relatively new on the electronic dance scene, theyre quickly gaining a reputation for versatile and quality music with a distinct style that is not confined to any genre. Were pumped that Pleasurekraft, Jaceo and Vedic have put their collaborative genius together for this 313 [Detroit] EP on Bitten, producing two instant dancefloor fillers. 

313 [DETROIT CALLING]: Homage to the city which invented Techno, a rolling bassline and dark drum patterns provide the undercurrents to rhythmic voices from the grittier side of life. Dial in for the experience!

212: Fans of the British film "Sexy Beast" will find a nice surprise waiting for them on the flip side "212". Though technically the calling code for New York City - the title is a reference to the temperature at which water turns from a liquid into a gas. A massive undulating bassline for those hot and dark sweaty clubs.

A hypnotic compound of techno and tech-house, further enhanced by the powerful groove and bass lines which characterise the sets of Mladen Tomic, Bosnian DJ and producer, who has won the hearts of clubbers across the globe. 
You will recognize his uncompromising sound and strong energy, which is woven into every one of sets. The carefully selected compositions. The unique production. The strong personal touch, whether in production, the mix or the re-mix.

His personal work, recognised and supported by both prominent artists and owners of famous record labels such as Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Monika Kruse, Umek, Popof, Adam Beyer, Stefano Noferini and others, have catapulted him to among the best, and opened the doors of the most prestigious clubs and festivals around the world.

Performances all over Europe (Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, England, Scotland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Belgium ...), America (USA, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica) and Canada are testimony of that. 
The ever growing list of festivals whose line-up includes Mladen’s name is even more impressive: Miami WMC 2013 and 2014 (US), EXIT - Dance Arena (Serbia), Soul Tech and Selenic Beach (Mexico), Kazantip (Ukraine), Stereo Sunday ( the Netherlands), Amsterdam Dance Event (Netherlands), Refresh (Montenegro) amongst many others.

With a highly acclaimed series of original tracks, production is still the centre of Mladen's business with regular releases on renowned labels such as Sci + Tec, Suara, Definitive Recordings, Terminal M, 1605, Octopus, 100% Pure, Deeperfect and Stereo Productions.

In March 2012, Mladen and Sian’s joint single "Front Pocket", remixed by Nicole Moudaber, reached number 1 on the Beatport Techno charts and the original mix No.3. In the January 2013 edition of Techno Tools Vol.1 on the famous Suara label, was a great success - up to four compositions were in the techno Top 20, and two in the Top 10, with “Physical Level”, on the 4th and “Tune” in 8th place in the techno charts. Mladen’s remix of "Airscape" by Stefano Noferini found itself in the seventh place on the Beatport techno list. The famous track ‘’Before Sunset” from 2009 has also been a huge worldwide success, and it has been ranked 12th on the tech house list.  “Solar Wind”, which was released on Sci + Tec, was one of the most played tracks in Dubfire's sets in 2014 and was positioned 12th on the Beatport techno chart. "730 Drink" on Night Light Records was on the 9th Essential mix of Richie Hawtin and “West Beach” and “Inside The Bootle”, (which has also appeared on Night Light Records), found themselves in almost every one of Richi’s sets in Ibiza in 2014 and 2015.
 
An equally large success has been achieved by "Dance of Shadows", "Global Mind", "True Story", "Under The Fool Moon", "Tangas", "Lady In The House", "Green Cubes" and so on.

It is also important to mention the successful remixes produced by Mladen for famous artists, including Mauro Picotto, Sebastian Leger, Cristian Varela, Stefano Noferini, Chus & Ceballos, ANNA, Manuel De La Mare, Paolo Mojo, Marko Nastic and Boris.

Mladen’s career began way back in 1999, when he joined forces with Sinisa Tamamović to promote events in their native Banja Luka and toured the Western Balkans. They soon founded their own label, Night Light Records, which is now the synonym for quality, innovation and releases that are always one step ahead.

German techno duo Kaiserdisco is making waves in the international electronic music scene with their unique blend of energetic beats and infectious melodies. Comprised of Frederic Berger and Patrick Buck, the duo has released a string of successful tracks on renowned labels such as Drumcode, Suara, and Tronic, among others.

With over a decade of experience, Kaiserdisco has become known for their dynamic DJ sets and productions that seamlessly fuse classic techno sounds with modern elements. Sidney Charles has mastered the art of high impact house music that comes with a signature sense of depth, melody and groove. That unique style has made the Hamburg-born DJ, producer and label boss one of the underground's most prominent names: last year was his busiest ever with multiple chart-topping releases, high profile support from Radio 1 and standout gigs across the world. In 2023, the proven tastemaker will focus on his already influential Heavy House Society label and launch its new residency at Watergate in Berlin.
The last year has seen Sidney make an indelible mark on the scene. He played in Ibiza at the likes of Amnesia, DC10 and Cova Santa. He played to large crowds across several South American countries and all over the US from Miami to Las Vegas to New York and LA. He played in key Spanish cities at Input, Fabrik Madrid, Weekend Beach Festival, frequently visited Italy, played in the Netherlands multiple times a month and cemented his close relationship at UK hotbeds like Manchester's Warehouse Project and Leeds' Mint Warehouse.
Whether playing to a close and compact crowd in a small basement or tearing up a vast festival main stage, Sidney knows how to join the dots between the past and the present. He manages to open up new house worlds with his educated selections but never forgets to blow up the dance floor in the process. Just like his productions, his DJ sets are full of surprises, twists and turns but also rooted in physical grooves. His love of jazz, hip hop and funk and his vast knowledge of the 90s sounds always shine through with plenty of heavy bass which makes the Sidney Sound so irresistible.
Years after his first breakout hit, Sidney continues to hit the top of the charts with his newest creations. In 2022 there were three separate number ones on three different labels in Beatport's genre charts. They came on his own label, Eastenderz and Hot Creations, while he has also signed to the likes of No Art, Locus, PIV and Do Not Sleep amongst many more.
Sidney's Heavy House Society is already a respected go-to outlet for solid and innovative house music. It mixes up releases from top-tier artists and well curated new school talents such as Kolter (aka Djoko), Luuk Van Dijk, Locklead, Madvilla, Luca Donzelli, M-High and many more. As well as a collab EP with Kolter in 2023, Sidney will also head up the label nights, Heavy House Society, under the famous LED ceiling of Berlin's cult club Watergate. He has solo EPs in the works for the label as well as Cécille Records, MicroHertz and PIV; and will get in the studio with East End Dubs. All this is proof that Sidney Charles is at the top of his game.
