We can find rest in our Bibles. In 2 Timothy 3, we read about the great opportunity to profit from reading the Bible regularly. We can come to the Bible hopeful that God will speak to us, hungry that God will satisfy us in Christ our Savior, and humble that God will make adjustments in us by the Spirit's use of the Bible. Finally, we review ten tips for reading the Bible and finding rest in it.

The parent or discipler can share their faith, pass it down from generation to generation, via four concepts emphasized in this chapter: 1) their personal devotion to God, 2) their diligent pointing to God, 3) their thanks to God in the highs and lows, and 4) their emphasis on the gospel of God's grace through Jesus as the foundation of all their religious instruction.
