Avec KRAFFT, je poursuis mon exploration musicale, entre mélodies hypnotiques et rythmes immersifs. Un voyage à 112 BPM, traversé par les influences du 3-step sud-africain, fusionnées à une techno mélodique, pour créer un univers sonore unique.

Cet EP est une métaphore intime de mon parcours : des années de création aux côtés d’Aurélia Mengin, à défendre un cinéma indépendant et un festival qui résistent envers et contre tout.
Inspiré par la force brute des éléments et la passion dévorante qui animaient les Krafft, chaque morceau raconte une lutte, un instant suspendu face à des forces plus grandes que moi. Mes sonorités, tantôt délicates, tantôt volcaniques, évoquent à la fois l’intensité du combat et la beauté des moments arrachés à l’adversité.

Nicolas Luquet (aka Luke Kay) is a french producer, composer, and sound engineer. Living in both Paris and Reunion Island, Nicolas constantly switches between tropical vegetation, volcanic landscape and chaotic urban, modern, mechanical rhythm of the capital. This exciting contrast feeds his creation who strives to evoke wild untamed nature and urban human-crafted organized chaos. His work with movies, sound design, editing, and soundtrack debuted in 2010 upon meeting director Aurélia Mengin, and has continued through 2 full feature films, as well as various medium- and short-format films, music videos, and other video work. In the past 15 years, Nicolas has also co-organized the MEME PAS PEUR International Film Festival, the Fantastic Film event of Reunion Island.
