Closing off this year on a high, we proudly present a fresh Bassic mix from Commercial Suicide boss KLUTE, with a taster of what to expect from him, the label and typical DJ sets. 

Concluding a strong 2014 on Commercial Suicide (with releases from The Invaderz, Calibre, Optiv & BTK and Mindscape), Klute has three new releases in December and a prelude of what's to come. 

With "The Beyond" out now on Drum&BassArena, his remix of Mindscape's "Dust Devil" followed on Commercial Suicide and this week, "Natural Observer" was released on Doc Scott's 'Future Beats Album'.
 
2015 starts with a new Commercial Suicide 12" on 23rd Jan for and a Metalheadz 12" soon after. This begins a string of releases to celebrate a milestone "20 Years of Klute", leading to a new album and selective retrospective sets.

Hellllloooo and welcome to Episode 256 of The Everyday Junglist Podcast-Detroit!! Thank you Virtue for your mix for episode 255, that mix is on heavy rotation on my playlist, such a big mix!!

For this episode we bring you a mix from an upcoming producer who is really making some big moves in the dnb scene and making some amazing tracks, this week's mix comes from Thing!! Some of my favorite tracks from Thing are: With you, Inhale, and Future Root, so if you do not have these, pick them up!!

I am very excited to get a mix from Thing and after you listen to this mix you will hear why, this mix has deep, minimal, rolling bass lines, old skool sounding tracks, and some dubby tunes too, this mix is a favorite of mine!

Enough of me talking about Thing, let's find out who he is from the man himself:

Thing is from Estonia, a small town called called Tartu. He is into deep, dark reggae and dub influenced music. He has been involved with music his whole life, especially for the last three years. Things music has been released by several legendary record companies, for example 31 records and Blu Mar Ten music. Besides that, he is the owner of two record companies himself — Dubthing Records and Depthwise music. Thing releases most of his tracks under Dubthing records. His music is recognized and played by well-known DJs like Loxy, Doc Scott, dBridge, Gremlinz, Stunna and many others.
