Los Citripios son más que una banda: son una anomalía luminosa en la era del absurdo.
Nacidos del espíritu inquieto de Martín Alejandro Oviedo, artista argentino que desde los años ‘90 surfea entre trackers, disquetes y sueños, Los Citripios combinan la estética dorada del synthwave con la crudeza emocional del under más visceral.

El nombre surge como un tributo desfachatado al mítico C3PO —rebautizado en español como Citripio—, pero aquí reprogramado:
gay, callejero, poético y con códigos binarios y no binarios bien escritos.
Citripio no es solo un personaje: es el corazón dorado que late detrás de cada canción. Es la afirmación de una identidad libre, orgullosa y a prueba de glitches.

Los Citripios suenan a synthpop sudado y synthwave subido de tono, con letras que escupen verdad, bailan entre ruinas, y abrazan la melancolía como quien baila un lento con el Apocalipsis.
