This year's "09.25.96" was probably the hardest to actualize. Life has been a rollercoaster ride over the last year and at every turn, my attention and energy was being pulled in directions away from simply doing what I love.

At points, I wasn't sure I'd be able to get it done, and that was a rude awakening for me. I spent all year giving myself and showing up for everything and everybody who needed me, but when I needed myself the most, I folded...

or so I thought.

I rose to the occasion and I showed up for myself the way I deserve. I put my all into this album for you all and, most importantly,  for me.

There's so much to say, but the music tells the story better than I ever could. Exploring the themes of freedom, boundaries, detachment, balance, presence, love lost and gained, and so much more, "09.25.96 VII" is the culmination of my journey to self.

Through death, I am reborn in this masterpiece.

In 2012, Elmar's own artistic vision gave birth to his debut album: “living.LIFE". What was once meant to be a live-set for an upcoming festival, evolved into a 13 track release. Infused with the living essence of sound, it is an intimate collection of snapshots that reflect more than words ever could. "living.LIFE" were released on his own label 5D.records in December 2013.

A few months later, a big dream came to reality. 
Elmar dropped his first own 4 Track EP. (DayNight EP). 
Released on Richie Hawtin ́s Label M_NUS.

Three years after his debut album, he is ready with the second one! “EXISTED.live” will also be released on 5D.records. Followed by the “EXISTED.live Remix Series A – I“ presented by Elmar Strathe. Continuously released on 5D.records in 2017.
