Bought my first Kam belt drive record decks in 1998, and started DJ-ing shortly around Cork City and County as well as getting a slot on local stations Kiss FM, NRG FM, Klub FM and a few shows on the legendary Radio Friendly. Genres at the time- trance, house and hard-house. Also started using Acid Pro to make my own edits and mashups.

Having been retired from the DJ-ing game since 2006, Ableton Live filled the void as I started to learn to produce tracks.

Now...
In 2019, I picked up my first midi controller, a Pioneer SB3 with Serato Pro and started putting new set mixes on mixcloud.

Currently, I'm putting out bootlegs and mashups using Ableton as a kind of learning curve to making original tracks.

Short term goal - 2k+ followers. DONE!
Long term goal - get something signed! DONE!
New goals incoming, roll on 2023!

BIGJOY is the debut artist project of LA based producer & songwriter Kyle Berzle.  His genre-bending style is characterized by pop leaning melodies wrapped up with rich, unexpected textures and soundscapes.  With a deep reverence for a wide range of music and artistic references, BIGJOY beautifully blends organic and synthetic elements to create new and fresh pallets for every song. With a lineup of songs slated for 2022, the one thing you can expect is for your expectations to be defied. Each song lives in its own world yet collectively they make up a cohesive universe. His debut single Bandwidth, is a guitar-driven synth bop living in the aesthetic world of Mura Masa, Porches, and Dominic Fike, with his future catalogue boasting deeper synth cuts ranging from Jai Paul to Disclosure. Biography

From a young age, Wez aka Yellody, had a passion for music, playing drums in school and developing an interest in music production and DJing. He began DJing at age 15, mastering vinyl turntables and securing gigs at local nightclubs like Cricketeers, Maximes, and Pada Lounge in his hometown of Wigan.

In 2014, Yellody took his skills overseas, securing residencies in popular holiday resorts like Malia, Crete, and Ayia Napa, Cyprus, where he performed for thousands of partygoers nightly. This led to an opportunity to open for the Popstar EXAMPLE.

Rise as a Producer

Returning to the UK, Yellody continued DJing at notable venues like Sankeys in Manchester, supporting acts like Chuckie and Michael Woods (OFFAIAH). In 2015, he secured a residency at Wigan's renowned house music club, The Attic, playing alongside international DJs like Tom Staar, Corey James, and D.O.D. "I like to re-invent old sounds and experiment a lot with samples from all genres and put my own stamp on things, if any producers or singer/ songwriters would like to collab to get in touch, also any remix enquiries to get in touch, please".

During this time, Yellody focused on producing his own tracks, teaching himself production on FL Studio. His music gained attention from top 100 DJs like Ummet Ozcan and Sander Van Doorn, who featured his tracks on their radio shows.

Major Label Signing

Rebranding as PATIØN in 2016, he shifted to a commercial deep house sound. In 2017, he achieved a major career milestone by signing with Armin van Buuren's influential Armada Music label. Subsequent releases included tracks on Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records and collaborations with vocalists like Jake O'Neill and Damon C. Scott.

In the following years, Wez changed his name to Yellody and continued releasing on labels like Sirup Music, Noface Records, and Perfect Havoc - The label is responsible for breaking the UK producer Joel Corry who received three Brit Award nominations - with chart success in Germany and support from tastemakers worldwide.


House Music never sounded so good with Yellody behind the decks. 2024 is gonna be a big year
