The second piece of dialogue taken from later in the episode when D'Angelo asks Stringer "Where's Wallace?".  The beat takes samples from the 1984 horror film "Nightmare on Elm Street".

D$: A Storyteller's Journey Through Hip-Hop

D$'s journey into hip-hop began in the late 90s, crafting parodies of popular alt-rock songs. In 2000, a pivotal encounter with his mentor, Abacuz, ignited his passion for rap. Abacuz bestowed upon him his first rap name, "Endangered Logik," and imparted invaluable knowledge on rhyme structure and beat production using Cool Edit Pro and Fruity Loops.

Despite early collaborations and group projects like Tryp~Wyre, Acadia Manor, and Untitled Poetry, D$ faced setbacks and periods of self-doubt, even stepping away from music in 2010. However, a wrongful termination from a security job reignited his creative fire, leading him to pen his first song in over a decade. This marked a turning point, inspiring him to produce two EPs, "Today's Yesterday" and "Yesterdays Tomorrow," followed by the full-length LP "For the Record" and a string of subsequent EP releases.

Drawing inspiration from his idols, 2Pac and Will Smith, D$ has cultivated a distinct style rooted in storytelling. His music reflects his life experiences, cultural heritage, and the resilience he's developed throughout his career. With upcoming EPs like "Life is Strange," "We Blazin," and "In Business" on the horizon, D$ continues to evolve as an artist, sharing his unique voice and captivating narratives with the world.

Relay is rapper/producer from Mt Clemens, MI. His raw style and his passion for good music has led him to work with many artists of different genres. Relay's influences include hip-hop, metal, alternative rock & more.

Bringing that bass to the 518, Mike AKA "Big Daddy" has been djing in the Albany scene for some time now, running the floor with his filthy dubstep and trap. Known and respected as 1/2 of Folly Mace. Starting back in early 2012, producing has been an inspiration of my development in finding out my true roots as an artist; countless edits/bootlegs made in perspective. In June '13 my progression took full flight, spinning in Albany on a regular basis and holding a residency at bars/nightclubs. Our duo as Folly Mace has opened the eyes of many due to our dynamic track selections, giving you the listener what they want to hear. Us, Folly Mace, have shown how we keep the bodies moving and the ears listening.
