Il a dirigé Radio Réveil pendant presque trente ans: Edmond Moret revient au micro pour retracer l'aventure de la foi qui a caractérisé cette mission radiophonique.
Pour boucler la boucle des 75 ans d'existence de Radio Réveil, l'association qui chapeaute RADIO R, nous avons eu le privilège d'accueillir Edmond et Annette Moret dans nos locaux d'Yverdon-les-Bains. Interviewé par Christine et Yvan, l'ancien directeur a retracé l'incroyable aventure de foi vécue tout au long de cette mission radiophonique débutée en 1949. C'est en 1965, alors qu'il cherchait encore un peu sa voie, travaillant dans l'immobilier mais peu convaincu d'y avoir sa place, qu'Edmond Moret entend dire qu'on recherche de l'aide à Radio Réveil. "La découverte de l'Evangile avait été un élément très fort pour moi, dans un moment particulier en 1962.  Et j'avais l'envie de partager cela, car l'Evangile n'est pas une propriété privée qu'on a pour soi: on peut certes en jouir et c'est illimité! Mais en même temps, ce n'est pas un trésor qui nous appartient: il est à tout le monde et il est à partager". L'occasion se présente donc pour lui de se lancer dans le ministère radiophonique au sein de Radio Réveil. Diverses circonstances le conduiront à en prendre la direction, de 1974 à 2003, année de sa retraite.
La particularité des productions radiophoniques de Radio Réveil était que celles-ci étaient diffusées sur des radios partout en Francophonie (puisque l'association ne possédait pas d'antennes), et notamment sur le support de grands médias comme RMC, RTL et Europe 1, avec une liberté de parole qui échappait quelque peu à la logique. "Il n'y avait rien de religieux sur ces grandes ondes! L'audience n'était pas un public privilégié de chrétiens déjà plus ou moins convaincus; c'était vraiment un extraordinaire champ ouvert", souligne Edmond Moret. Outre le travail très en évidence des speakers de la radio, il y avait aussi le travail de suite, la correspondance avec les auditeurs qui écrivaient à Radio Réveil après avoir entendu des émissions. Et bien sûr, l'aide des donateurs qui portaient économiquement tout ce fardeau qui était quand même relativement gros. Et cela, durant 75 ans. Ça en fait du capital d'amour, de solidarité, de main tendue!"

if you listen to a track of mine all i ask is that you listen to the whole thing or at least past the halfway point. because i tend to make my tracks mutate and i always mutate up, not down. meaning that the end of a track is always more interesting (heavier, slower, faster, more intricate, even a totally different genre in some cases) than the beginning. i like cut timing 4 on the floor tracks. i like double timing 2-step tracks. i like tempo modulation. i like surprises such as sudden changes, unexpectedly long build-ups into abrupt drops into completely different genres. i like teasing up coming sounds, melodies and rhythms. basically, wut i'm saying is that if you're a "listen to the first 30 seconds of a track and hit next" listener then you're more than likely going to miss the best part of a track. that goes for most songs, from EDM to bluegrass. a song is a journey to be experienced from the beginning to the end. you don't go on vacation to a new, potentially dope beach spot with potentially sick surf opps without having to wait your turn for a tasty wave only to stop a 1/4 of the way there and instead head back to the same old dirty ass, nasty, crowded beach with wimp status waves and inexperienced groms lined up to try to catch the next one only to watch them eat it and u have to either wait for a life guard to save them or save them yourself, do you? nah. same concept but this is free and much easier. when writing a song, unlike some artists (which is fine if that's how they wanna ruin the world) i don't come out with guns blazing. i build you up to a point and when that point comes then it's ham:30 but if you only give a track a 30 second chance then you might as well move on because there's nothing here that you'll like. 

stretch that attention span a bit. enjoy the moment that you're in. you'll be glad you did, trust me.   -some random dude on the internet.
