HEROES

The ship is hit with a second storm, with the waves growing so large that they appear to everyone on deck to be kicking the bottom of the clouds. The captain tries to scream orders but it quickly gets drowned out by the crashing waves and the pounding rain. The crew scrambles beneath deck to secure various items in the storeroom, while the captain takes the wheel to try and get his ship out of harms way. A questionable maneuver by the captain leads the ship tp be twisted around by the waves, which causes havoc below deck as a food barrel then breaks free in the store room, crushing an unsuspecting sailor to death before he could move out of the way. The first mate is furious at the captain and demands a proper burial for the deceased. The captain refuses, deliberately scolding the first mate in front of the crew.

Kicking Clouds (Pt. 2)

Imagine being on a ship and seeing a beautiful sunny day turn into literal shitstorm. The title comes from the idea that the waves would be rising so high that to the people on the ship, it would look like they were kicking the clouds. It's also a reference to my favorite artist and one of my inspirations for making music: Ben "Cloudkicker' Sharp.

My profile consists of original songs and demos I've recorded, along with other artists I have worked with in the past.

Profile for both my projects, "Curtins" and "Babe Vigoda". 

This music is entirely instrumental with the goal being that I wanted to create a soundtrack to movie that you visualize in your head while you listen. I've written little descriptions of what each song is supposed to represent in their respective stories.

All tracks were written, performed, recorded, programmed, produced, mixed and mastered by myself.

All guitar, bass and keyboards were performed by myself. The drums were programed manually using GetGood Drums. 

All guitars and bass were tracked through a Quad Cortex. 

All synths and keyboards were created using Kontrol and/or Ableton presets.

All other instruments were programmed manually via Ableton Live.

The picture used for Curtins is a painting that's somewhere between 70-100 years old. The picture used for Babe Vigoda was taken by myself on the Pulaski Bridge in Brooklyn on a warm summer night back in 2022.

Curtins: A prog metal adventure about a mutiny at sea, loosely inspired by the Mutiny on the Bounty (the Brando version).

Babe Vigoda: A synthwave opera about a guy named Fuzzy trying to get out the criminal underworld, and it's also just a really silly name.
