I’ve been composing music inspired by video games from the 80s and 90s recently. As you can see from the little story I created - It’s for a horror video game!
The 8 bit style from these old games has so many cool rhythmic and melodic ideas, almost to compensate for the typical “flat” or cold buzzy sound created with the technology of the time. it’s very dramatic when you think about it! Imagining this music with more sonic depth, creating modern takes by fusing warmer textures, has so much potential. The bleeps and bloops get more character!

Hi, my name is Gas No Light and Game For Experimentation. I've been making music for over 26 years now and have been and still make all sorts from synthy stuff like Vaporwave/Synthwave and Hauntology and general synthy vibes. I also make club stuff Jungle/Drum and Bass, House and Reggaetón, UK Garage and UK Funky which I enjoy making the most. Also, I like to make gaming music and Experimental music hence my other name but I do like making lots of different genres too.

His background in jazz and improvised music gives a spontaneous and fresh touch to his compositions and makes him a colorful storyteller with music.
He most recently wrote the score to "Tom & Jerry in New-York" by Warner Bros. Animation and his previous film scores were featured at Oscar qualifying festivals St. Louis, Cinequest, and Hollyshorts Film Festival as well as Burbank Film Festival, PTFF, Beaufort, and more worldwide.
