French Canadian singer, Mitsou, released the song 'Deep Kiss' in 1992. It was pretty popular in Canada at that time. In it's original format, it is a dance song. I just made it dancier!

In it's original form, 'Chains' is an amazing power ballad with a stellar vocal. Even after several decades, I still find the song moving. I wanted to see how it sounds as a house track. Track is not being monetized.

Earlier this month (Jan. 2025), I read Taylor Dayne's autobiography. While reading it, I kept digging into her catalogue. Her third album, 'Soul Dancing', grew more intriguing to me the more I played and re-played songs from it. Rather underrated, if you ask me. However, if you read her book, it sheds light on some road blocks she hit trying to get it released (label issues). In its original form, 'LSTNT' is a stunning mid-tempo pop/R&B track. Here, I punched it up making it danceable. Track is not being monetized.

Kym Sims is more known for 'Too Blind To See It' but I always preferred her follow up single 'Take My Advice'. It has more of a pop-house groove that I gravitate to. Track is not being monetized.

This is the fifth Cathy Dennis song I've mixed. I've always enjoyed her music - even if it's going on 30 years that she released any solo material! This one stays loyal to the original genre - perhaps it's a bit more 90s house made for clubs versus the original which was indeed pop-house but made more for radio. Track is not being monetized.

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a massive Lisa Stansfield fan. This is the fourth mix of a song of hers I've done. In its original form, 'The Real Thing' is an upbeat, pop/R&B track from her eponymous 1997 album. There are several dance mixes of the track in existence - here's another. Gabrielle's debut album 'Find Your Way' has some seriously good R&B songs on it. She's best known for 'Dreams' from that album but, in my opinion, there are far superior songs on it.
