Phew! Got this one made in just a few late night hours on Hallow's Eve's Eve (Oct. 30th). I felt like it'd be fitting to celebrate both Halloween 2025 and Deltarune's 7th anniversary by covering the song of everybody's favorite Halloween-themed miniboss: Jackenstein (featuring Pumkin Derry)! happy halloween! i've been planning this month to release some songs for a little one-off au where jackenstein is in spamton's role. i hadn't started the big shot until last night though... i guess i was taking too long on it... 

anyway here's jackenstein. he's still a halloween decoration, but this time the candle in his jack-o-lantern is actively lit, having him try to make the protagonist rush to help and put him out before he melts.

by this point, you've gone into the water filled basement with jack, but it's too late. you took too long on finding the way to put his fire out... it's consumed him completely. burning in a blind rage, jackenstein blames you for this and readies to attack you.

happy halloween! i've been planning this month to release some songs for a little one-off au where jackenstein is in spamton's role. i hadn't started the big shot until last night though... i guess i was taking too long on it...

here's that big shot, though! i hope it lives up to expectations cause people liked those last few tracks more than i expected and i was taking too long on this...

in lore, this form is just jack burning bright and angry after you took too long to help him. his heat is immense to the point its evaporating all the water around you. 

the neo is sans! kind of! the reason he was picked is because of my idea of paralleling the yellow soul and "big shot" connection with the blue soul and "too too" connection (since it was associated with the old tutu in undertale). the sans connection, besides just the blue soul, is contrasting him because while sans would be stalling, jack would be rushing for his life. though, both get weakened over time and start slowing down while sans starts sweating and jack starts melting.

the neo motif, however, is spooktune, obviously connecting back to a dark zone. since i decided these roles based on jack>spamton and sans as mettaton worked for my other idea, i decided to do napstablook>undyne where the battle against a true hero motif is spooktune, and thus sans as mettaton neo inherited it by undertale motif rules.
