What a time it was when love was all that mattered.
Sunny days and all those roads ahead.
And just as long as we could be together
We could go wherever they led.

But life has ways of making its own changes.
You can read it in the shoreline of the sea.
Now you’re not you and I’m not me.
We’re not the people we set out to be, that’s for sure.
