This set is a sketch of love. It hums and glows, sometimes tender, sometimes wild. Melodies lean into one another, rhythms embrace and dissolve. Each beat a heartbeat, each silence a breath. 

This year, I got to play at nighttime, instead of the early sunrise hours, so I choose to play a bit faster than usual, more housy and more dubby. The vibe remains very soft and full of love :)

After days of serious dragging online, Izzy Ogbeide don finally break silence over the viral 30-minute tape wey scatter internet last week.

The controversial content creator come online via her official Twitter (X) page and drop bold reactions wey shock many Nigerians. For her post, Izzy no deny the tape o. Instead, she talk say:

"I no dey hide anything. I did it for 30 minutes, and I still stand by it!"

As expected, the internet catch fire again. Some people praise her for owning up, while others dey blast her for turning the matter into content.

To add more drama, she also sub VeryDarkMan, wey earlier accused her of disgracing female content creators. Izzy reply am indirectly, saying:

"If you no get tape, no dey talk to me."

As reactions full ground on Twitter and Telegram, people dey ask whether this na PR move or real scandal. But one thing clear: Izzy Ogbeide sabi how to stay trending!

J’ai beaucoup été influencé dans les années 90 par la pop culture (Michael Jackson entre autres…) ainsi que le rock progressif par mon père (Supertramp, Dire Strait, etc…) 

Début 2000 j’ai découvert la house grâce à David Guetta et sa compilation mixée des bains douches à Paris, que j’ai tout de suite accroché, 

Vivant sur la métropole Lilloise, j’ai profité de la chance de la proximité avec la belgique pour pouvoir sortir, dès que mon âge pouvait le permettre, dans les grands clubs électro proche de Tournai et de Mouscron tel que Lagoa, l’H2o, le Zoo et La Bush.

J’ai alors découvert la musique Trance progressive, melodic, l’électro minimaliste, mais également la house, deep house, et les musiques d’after qui reste très chère à mon goût ! 

À la suite de ça j’ai réussi à rentrer dans le staff de La Bush et y travailler chaque week-end en tant que ramasseur en salle, j’ai donc pu pendant plusieurs années, en plus de mon travail, écouter chaque Dj que j’ai rencontré personnellement ainsi que les Dj résidents emblématique de cette grande époque.

J’ai donc décidé en 2003 de passer le cap et de mettre également au mix, j’ai acheté une table de mixage une platine vinyle et un lecteur cd pour pouvoir maîtriser les deux supports en même temps et ne pas non plus investir trop gros sans savoir si j’allais réussir,

Mais en deux semaines j’ai réussi à savoir bien caler à l’oreille j’ai donc acheté plus gros (un double lecteur cd et 2 platines vinyles Numark)

De fil en aiguille j’ai commencé à me faire connaître et en 2005 j’ai eu la chance de pouvoir mixer chaque week-end au Liberty à Tournai, beaucoup en after et aussi quand les grosses boîtes était fermé.

Après ça malheureusement en 2006 j’ai dû arrêter pour cause professionnel, mais la passion était toujours présente, 

Depuis ce temps je suis toujours présent, que ce soit sur webradio comme dans des soirées, 

Mon style de mix ce situe donc entre la deep house, la house, l’électro, la trance et la tek, je mixe le plus souvent sur platine vinyles (2 Pioneer PLX 1000) et sur lecteur Cd (Denon DN D4500) avec une DJM 850 de Pioneer
