183: The Digital Dilemma: Ethical Frontiers of AI

1.	Mashirika matatu ya Umoja wa Mataifa leo yametoa onyo kali kwamba dalili zote zinaonesha kuzorota kwa kiasi kikubwa kwa hali ya lishe kwa watoto na wanawake katika nchi ya Sudan inayokumbwa na vita. Uchambuzi wa hivi karibuni uliofanywa na Mashirika hayo matatu la Kuhudumia Watoto (UNICEF), la Mpango wa Chakula Duniani (WFP) na la afya ulimwenguni (WHO) unaonesha kwamba uhasama unaoendelea unazidisha visababishi vya utapiamlo kwa watoto. 
2.	Mashirika ya Umoja wa Mataifa yanaendelea kutoa wito wa usitishaji mapigano katika Ukanda wa Gaza kwasababu hali inazidi kuwa tete kila uchao. Shirika la Umoja wa Mataifa la Mpango wa Chakula Duniani (WFP) limesema hakuna mengi ambayo linaweza kufanya kwa sasa huko Rafah kwani akiba ya chakula ni ndogo na kuna vikwazo vingi kuwafikia watu.
3.	Mkutano wa siku mbili wa Kimataifa wa Akili Mnemba umeanza leo Mei 30 mjini Geneva, Uswisi kujadili matumizi bora ya Akili Mnemba (AI) ili kuharakisha kuelekea Malengo ya Maendeleo Endelevu ya Umoja wa Mataifa na unaunganisha wabunifu wa Akili Mnemba na watoa uamuzi wa sekta ya umma na binafsi ili kusaidia kuongeza ufumbuzi unaotokana na akili Mnemba kote duniani.
4.	Na katika kujifunza lugha ya Kiswahili leo mtaalam wetu Onni Sigalla, Mhariri mwandamizi wa Baraza la Kiswahili la Taifa nchini Tanzania, BAKITA anafafanua maana ya neno “KIBUHUTI”.
