The Vendetta Suite is back to light up the early part of 2025 with a brilliant brace of singles on Hell Yeah. Kicking things off is a glorious acid house/disco thriller backed by a soothing out of body escape.

We’ve often referred to The Vendetta Suite as Belfast’s best kept secret, but with the quality music he keeps releasing he is rightly picking up ever more of a profile. The Hell Yeah regular has long been a key part of his native Northern Irish scene thanks to the way he mixes genres; ambient, post-rave Balearic, dub and acid house all in the mix with his own unique psychedelic magic.

First up is ‘The Jam Answer’, which taps into plenty of classic sounds but reinvents them for modern dancefloors. Bendy acid lines weave in between the dusty analogue drums, familiar acid house vocal samples and fizzing chord stabs bring the heat before a cosmic synth lead sings out with sunny soul.  ‘Island Hill Microdot’ channels dreamy Chicago house, the futuristic styles of IDM with the blissed out warmth of Balearic. Carried along with gentle percussion, it’s an immersive soundscape that makes for the perfect tropical distraction.

The greatest collaboration we've seen since Bing Crosby & David Bowie blasted out their lungs on Little Drummer Boy! Our very own Chris Massey joins forces with long time Sprechen supporters and closest musical colleagues Supernature for a mighty fine slice of yessmate acid disco chug.

Taken from our forthcoming 10 year anniversary compilation, Walk...Now Walk is a 303 powered rework of a discotheque classic (originally by a certain 6ft drag queen) which has been firmly put through the Massey makeover machine. The result is packing bags of sleaze & sass with a lead vocal from Supernature's BB sat atop a bubbling blast of acid lines, interwoven with relentless chuggy low end energy and hypnotic synth lines peppered throughout.

A perfect transition tune for when the need is there to switch things up from toe tapping to some serious shoulder jerking action...it's a biggie!

tici taci - bringing you electric funk rekkids at tempos below 120 bpm. No pre-packed freeze dried loops here, all tracks have live instruments well to the fore, from funky wah-wah guitars and deep chunky bass to temperamental analogue synthesisers and live percussion.

Now 2 years later (July 2015) we're at 23 releases from a range of artists and remixers, with one release scheduled each month.


Duncan Gray (biog) : Perhaps best known as one half of the Sons of Slough along with Ian Weatherall - see discogs entry for details of releases. The Sons were a formidable Live act (see You tube) playing regularly across the UK. DG's own releases also gained some popularity, starting with cuts for Scatological (1996) Blue Black, Whole9Yards, SaltHill, through to Aquamelon (2009). Since returning to music production in 2013 he has released tracks on NEIN, Eskimo, Blindetonation, Play Pal, Rock to The Beat, plus Andrew Weatherall's vinyl only Birdscarer label. He has played guitar on half a dozen AW remixes.

I'm getting fussy these days...please email files to the email address above. (don't just send a soundcloud link please) If you don't know what the sound of this label is like, don't bother sending me stuff. I get quite a few demos with a note saying "I love the sound of your label" from producers who have clearly never listened to any of our releases.

PLEASE NOTE : 2020 release schedule now full, but I can always make room for something spectacular, or a really cool remix...
