After 7 months of taking a hiatus, I returned to my home dance fam to play again! Thank you to all who came out and to all who listen. This was a very deep and special mix, made with my broken heart <3 

Purrr usual, I wrote a poem to go along with the dance - here ya go:

Life will have many chapters
That is, if we are one of the lucky
Blessed to see many seasons
Blessed to write a life story 

It takes a lot of courage
To know when a chapter must end
To trust in what’s yet to be written
To start over and begin again 

It takes a lot of courage, too
To know when a chapter’s undone
Still so much to be resolved
Before moving on to the next one

Each chapter plays into the next
Some circle back around.
And just like that we live out our days
On Life’s merri-go-round

Regardless of the chapter you are in,
And of all the characters you’ve known,
After its all said and done,
It’s you, the narrator, that sets the tone

So lets choose our words wisely
With conscious narrativity
Dancing through life lovingly 
For this is our legacy 

I see you writing your story,
How beautiful it is to see
Persevering through the chapters of life
Your sacred precious journey

May we let go of chapters past,
And give love to the ones we are in

Fronted by Lizzie Mack and her brother in soul, Murray Cook, The Soul Movers include in their number, bass man Andy Newman (The Visitors) Marko Simec on keys (Waiting For Guinness) and drummer Stu Wilson (Loose Pills).In their March 2019 release, The Soul Movers offer a new album that features hitmaking musicians. Those include legendary "Swampers" David Hood on bass, Spooner Oldham on keys and Milton Sledge on drums as well as Kelvin Holly, Little Richard's guitarist of 20 years, on guitar.

 

Having recorded the album across so many iconic studios including Sun and Royal in Memphis as well as Fame and Muscle Shoals Sound, "Bona Fide" places the Soul Movers' music in the highly skilled hands of the originators of this exciting soul-pop, blues and 'old school' R&B genres.
 
In terms of live performance, The Soul Movers' combine top-flight musicians from well-known and loved local and international bands powered by a gutsy frontwoman wielding a wild tambourine and a much-loved ex-Red Wiggle. Josh Stein (artist name: Orion Giant) is a Colorado-based family man with an unbridled passion for music (plays piano, guitar and professionally produces & DJs electronic music). Orion Giant's roots started in rock music and eventually evolved to electronic music, as he discovered a newfound love for dance music almost a decade ago. Drawn to the sounds of emotional House music, Piano House, Future House, Tech House, Deep House, and Deep Melodic Sounds, Orion Giant draws inspiration from several artists such as Spuke, Sonny Fodera, Zack Martino, Leftwing Kody, Ben Rainey, Kaskade, & Oliver Heldens. 

Right now Orion Giant is busy producing electronic music (original, remixes & edits) and has hopes of playing in the greater Boulder / Denver area. His music is currently featured on music pools such as Digital Music Pool & Headliner Music Club and is supported by artists, such as Hiddn & GT_Ofice.
