”Misanthropocene," is a salacious exploration of self-destructive coping mechanisms that is equal parts cynical and candid. The bouncing, writhing, groove slithers throughout the verses, lifting to a cathartic chorus and a primally danceable bridge. “Misanthropocene" (a portmanteau of misanthrope and Anthropocene) represents the era of distrust, bitterness, and isolation masquerading as bravado and individuality in which we currently find ourselves.
