Eine der ersten Regeln, die man beim Auflegen hört, lautet: Genrewechsel innerhalb eines Sets vermeiden.
Ich mach’s trotzdem – genau das ist sogar mein Ziel.

Nachdem ich @the_tunegirl dieses Jahr auf der Fusion gesehen habe, hat es mich tief in die Welt des Raw Techno gezogen. Ich liebe diese minimalistische, hypnotische Art: kein Schnickschnack, nur ein Sog, der dich Schicht für Schicht weiter hineinzieht. Es geht weniger um Melodien, Breakdowns und Drops – und viel mehr um ein Spiel aus Druck, Textur und Rhythmus.

Also wollte ich eine Story bauen, die langsam von meinem sonstigen Stil (Peak Time / Psy Tech) in Raw / Hypnotic Techno übergeht. Dafür habe ich das Set grob in zwei Hälften geteilt – und in der Mitte einen Abschnitt eingebaut, der etwas Energie rausnimmt, um danach umso kraftvoller zurückzukommen.

Für mich symbolisiert dieser Mittelteil ein Moment mit etwas Größerem - eine Begegnung mit einem höhrem Wesen, das dir nur eine simple Anweisung gibt: „Come on, dance with me.“ Der zweite Part hält die Intensität dann konstant hoch, gibt zum Ende nochmal richtig Gas – und landet schließlich bei "Dive (Fort Romeau’s ‘Tranceadelic' Mix)". Ein Track, der dich endgültig in eine andere Dimension zieht – als hättest du ein Geheimnis entdeckt.
