On 27 March, the FSL association invites visitors to their living library - an event where people get to learn personal stories and ask questions. In our interview on the breakfast show, Haythem Badawy explains all about the event.

On Local Matters, we have a visit to the north-eastern end of the city of Luxembourg, to the neighborhood of Kuebebierg. So far, it is only green fields and a few trees. Once finished, the Kuebebierg neighborhood will house 3000 families.

Erin speaks to Inna Yaremenko, Vice-President of LUkraine about Ukrainian Independence Day on the 24th August and the work of the organisation. Inna talks about how she feels homesick, and the importance of marking a day like Independence Day even if celebrating feels wrong in the current climate. LUkraine are relaunching their fundraiser to help provide support to Ukrainian people. On the 24th they are hosting various events in Luxembourg to mark the day, which are open to all, Ukrainian or not. Find more information on https://lukraine.org/

Eva Klein has come in to talk to us on the Breakfast Show with Erin about the start of the Philharmonie’s new season, starting on the 20th September with Colours and Contrasts. 

In particular, Eva talks about how the Philharmonie is not just for classical music, but also boasts a collection of contemporary or “out of the box” performances. These include a Portuguese language festival and the contemporary festival which this year has the theme of "extremes". Expect to see 20 bagpipe players or experience pieces that last all day!
