A.U.M is a hi-tech and dark psychedelic trance project that explores the twisted depth of emotions and expression. The music is powered by driving beats and touching melodies, that capture a glimpse of time, linked to deep feelings and experiences.
His first contact with psytrance music was in 2010, and it rapidly became his greatest passion, getting involved in the mind boggling process of psytrance production. At first, he explored most psytrance genres, from goa trance to pumping full-on, but the first contact with hi-tech made clear how the future will sound like : fast, powerful and passionate ! 
The sound of AUM can be described as a duality between our darkest thoughts and emotions, and the most uplifting and energising states of counsciousness, experienced all together in an untold story of our existance...the story of LIFE.

Maurício Naves has been into music since he was a kid, exploring different genres along the way. He finally dove into electronic music production in 2018 and debuted his hitech project called QAWAQ in 2019. Inspired by the ancient Andean civilization, known as Quechua, he brings a deep connection to people's energy and the universe into his work. In the shamanic Quechua language, the word for empath is "QAWAQ," which means "one who sees," stemming from the verb "Qaway," representing the ability to perceive vital energy. In his music, Maurício aims to capture the intensity, aesthetics, and composition of Hitech while keeping the psychedelic essence of Trance alive. With elements that evoke technology and robotics, combined with arrangements that explore repetition and melodies designed to ease trance states, his tracks are melodic and full of elements that fluctuate between 160 and 200 BPM.

Maurício Naves, envolvido com a música desde a infância e transitando por diversos gêneros, finalmente mergulhou na produção de música eletrônica em 2018. Em 2019, estreou seu projeto de hitech chamado QAWAQ. Inspirado pela civilização ancestral andina, conhecida como Quechua, ele traz em seu trabalho uma conexão profunda com a energia das pessoas e do universo. Na língua xamânica quíchua, a palavra para empata é "QAWAQ", que significa "quem vê". originado do verbo "Qaway", que representa a habilidade de perceber a energia vital. Em sua música, Maurício busca capturar a intensidade, estética e composição do Hitech, mantendo viva a essência psicodélica do Trance. Com elementos que evocam tecnologia e robotização, combinados com arranjos que exploram a repetição e melodias destinadas a facilitar o acesso ao estado de transe, resultando em tracks melódicas e repletas de elementos que flutuam entre os 160 e 200 BPM.
