Welcome back SSS fam and welcome to another journey of sound. Coming on the heels of Bennit's massive, hard hitting session from last week, I've got a new one for you to close us out this weekend. 

Spacewalk features a diverse selection, ranging from liquid and rollers, with a touch of soul grabbing vocal samples to throwback tunes, a bit of hip-hop and carefully chosen ambient joints to add some flavor as we come to a smooth landing through deep cuts of atmospheric jungle and drum and bass, finishing it off with some earthy electronica, all put together with a spacey vibe as the backdrop to the journey as a whole.

WEAKNESSES

“The North Remembers You” is a solemn, cinematic Viking Metal piece by Fleshbeat Factory. Quiet female vocals and low, spoken male lines trace the steps of a nameless warrior whose life left no monument – only blood in the river, footprints in frozen sand and echoes in stone.  I'm primarily a Drum N Bass artist, but occasionally make tracks in other EDM genres too. I have been making music for over 20 years, but only recently decided to get it out. I used to DJ a lot too between 1995 to the mid 2000's but havent DJ'ed in a fair few years now but would like to get back into it. I will only be posting music that is my most recent or stuff that I feel is good enough to share. Most of my older music is unmastered and very very amateurish, but may share if there is demand. Koutsoukos Anastasios is the founder of the black metal music project ETEMON, 
based in Greece. The name ETEMON derives from ancient Greek (ἔτεμον), 
a verb form of “τέμνω” meaning to cut or to separate, and can be interpreted as “they cut / I cut.” 
The project’s symbol is the Delphic Cross, formed by the Delphic Epsilon intersected with a vertical line,
 and readable identically in both Greek and English.

ETEMON’s history includes activity periods in 1991–1997 (as Stonewall), 1999–2002, 
and 2005–2018 under a changed lineup and the ETEMON name. The project was revived in 2024,
 with several tracks being remastered. Musically, ETE﻿MON spans atmospheric black metal, epic/occultistic themes, 
ecclesiastical/unblack metal elements, historic and medieval influences, and touches of blackened death metal, 
drawing inspiration from bands such as Immortal and Patriarch.

Fleshbeat Factory is a conceptual metal project from Germany. Blending Viking Metal, Metalcore, Electronicore, Dark Country Metal, and Phonk-inspired heaviness, we craft epic, atmospheric soundscapes.
