“Rite of Silence” is a ceremonial soundscape — a slow-burning fusion of ambient techno, shadowed drones, and textural decay. The rhythm is patient, like footsteps inside a stone chamber. Sub-bass murmurs through the floor. High frequencies flicker like incense smoke curling toward the ceiling of an abandoned cathedral.

This piece was built not to entertain — but to hold space.
A space for grief, awe, surrender… whatever silence has kept buried.

There's a story in every low-end swell, in every moment the kick drum chooses not to speak. The synths don't sing — they observe. The mix breathes with restraint, reverence, and controlled pressure.

PREMIERE: NFNM - Friction Love (Tsott Remix) [Hypnotic Journeys]

I played a 3.5-hour set of my own material at Afterflow to a packed crowd. It felt incredibly good to perform—there was a lovely vibe on the dancefloor, with smiles, glances, and grins exchanged between friends and strangers alike. The sound system was phenomenal. Two 18" L-Acoustics subs did the job beautifully in an intimate industrial venue in Helsinki.

As usual, I started with ambient textures, keeping the early energy calm and spacious. Later on, we opened things up with faster BPMs and a more driving intensity. Dark, trippy, textural, hypnotic techno—served as intended.

My works are written in techno, hardcore and other electronic styles. I have been doing it since the late 90s. I played in the clubs of St. Petersburg: VMC, Truba, Friday, Polygon, as well as in V. Novgorod in the Luna club from the late 90s to the beginning of 2000.

Sound is my weapon against silence.

I was born in noise — in the pulse of factories, in distortion, in chaos.
Hardcore was my beginning. It spoke when I couldn’t.
With time, the sound grew deeper. Darker. It stopped screaming — and started possessing.

XCORE is my core. The root beyond genres.
It’s my ritual. My hypnosis. My rage, reshaped into form.
It’s my voice when my mouth is closed. It’s a language made of feeling, not words.
