Growing up amidst Melbourne’s vibrant underground scene, he developed a keen ear for music that moves people — not just physically, but emotionally.

Paul’s approach is rooted in storytelling. His sets flow with deep grooves, melodic tension, and cinematic textures that take listeners on a journey — a style that has become his signature both behind the decks and on the airwaves.

Beyond performing, Paul is a passionate advocate for the progressive house community. As a resident DJ on KISS FM Australia, he consistently shares his sound with a wide audience. He also curates two respected podcast platforms — Progsonic Sessions and White Label Progressive — spaces dedicated to showcasing fresh talent, building community, and keeping the underground spirit alive.

Born overlooking London Town, and here for your listening pleasure. 

I am following the advice of countless ravers, car sharers, friends, strangers, house party attendees, and those in the industry that say i have a unique multi layered sound, and that I should, "do something with it" by letting it find its crowd. 

The multi layered sound was developed by locking myself away for almost a decade after my company Revolution moved on to another plane, the new focus, the Sound of Gugu. 

When i first started producing in the late 1990's, I used basic programs but mainly recorded live instruments and artists, eventually I went MIDI and hooked into Logic Pro. The process was not cutting it for me, as developing sounds was only possible using Propeller Heads, Reason and Re-wire, it required electronic nouse to create, and patience to devote time to. 
Eventually, after years of trial and error, Logic created what I call its EDM version update in 2013  and that, as my good friend Purple Dice said on a long distant early hours purposeful call, "they have built it for you Dave- Download it now". That miracle update cut my personal hobby producing samples, sounds and tracks down to a fraction of time and I was back in the game. 

Yes, agreed, we are still learning, but thats where i come from, a good honest muso that wanted to make his own music and in particular, sound. 

A little background if you will, I am a product of the late 1980's Summer's of love, and count myself as the man that single handedly set out on a mission to put illegal rave music into the dance clubs of London, and beyond, and at a time when owners were still protecting Disco. 

In 1991, I founded a company called REVOLUTION, offered 'Raves in a Box', a new concept taking advantage of trusted inside information received one Sunday Morning on Clapham Common over a rocky bifter from the Founders and muscle of SUNRISE PRODUCTIONS. 

The formation of an underground mainstream conversion project was set in the motion and the very next day I handed in my resignation as a property agent in Islington, the work there, done.

After almost a decade in the property game, Islington was turned from a place cars sped through ignoring red traffic light signals with doors double-checked, locked,  into the beginnings of the Upper Street you may well know today. 
My part in the mediium and long term strategy I applied as early as a Junior had big impact on account of my inside-out knowledge of the area. 

I was a competition BMX rider in the heyday of the early 80's, and that gift of territorial knowledge led to me being head hunted by a rival state of the art Estate Agent. I become their voice during viewings and turned the most hardened of sceptics into buyers. I also formulated the building blocks of the massive success known as Manhattan Loft Conversions. 

The company i moved on to build, REVOLUTION, was built by calling on contacts, collaborations, and the gift of an in-house printing press, art department, sound scape team and the formation of what i believe to be the first DJ agency of which many are World famous today.  We were off and running from day one. Assisting new promoters into the niche market space propelled by the soon to be passed Dance and Music License Act (UK). 

I was waking companies up to the idea that the future was Dance Music and whether they like it or not, its the billion pound industry knocking on their door. The question was, open it now, or be forced into it later. 

Remember this was a time when advertising agencies and marketing teams of the music industry, household products, retail business and anything that sold you something to this day were visciously opposed to the concept set to sweep the World of a new era of music, Dance, and more importantly, the culture. Stigma caused by national press across the World was making it too scary an option for the aforementioned. 

I firmly believe I changed that fear into opportunity, and slowly the big guns started to wake up and get on board.  

And in reference to my multi layered club experience offered to 'illegal' mansion house party warehouse events money investors and legal venturers, we were off and running.

Timeout Magazine, the biggest periodic in media relating to Nights out in London) said after interviewing me for an editorial piece that I am "one to watch" and "this man is Multi-Media".  It was the first time those two words were hyphenated and used in media.
