Agent 51 remains one of the few punk bands in history with direct ties to the UAP/UFO disclosure movement. Formed in 1995 and hailing from the same hometown music scene alongside punk vets Blink-182/Unwritten Law, the band reached greater success when hitting the radar of Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. They signed to his label Adeline Records, releasing their sophomore album 'Just Keep Runnin'. 

At various times during their career, the band has maintained a mythology about their origins which purports them to be rogue secret agents, on the run from a clandestine government organization with ties to extraterrestrials
