Balearic Chill House Demo – Sunset Vibes at 124 BPM | Templates for Logic, Ableton & FL Studio

Dans la forêt il y a des pins qui brûlent
Dans a forêt il y a des pins qui se font dévorer par le scolyte
Dans la forêt il y a des gens qui se battent pour finir de les arracher
Dans la forêt il y en a des gens qui luttent pour les en empêcher

La forêt usagère de La Teste-de-Buch dans les Landes a brûlé ainsi qu'une bonne partie des pinèdes aux alentours durant les incendies de l'été 2022. Depuis, tout est chamboulé pour les habitants, car c'est un lieu qu'ils arpentent depuis des centaines d'années, dont ils utilisent les ressources et prennent soin comme un membre de leur communauté, en regard des droits ancestraux qu'ils ont dessus. Mais les grands forestiers procèdent à des coupes rases, et la lutte administrative et sociale s'organise. Le documentaire d'Alexandre Cartigny retrace cette histoire contemporaine aux travers du portrait et des témoignages des habitants.

La BO que nous avons composé à cette occasion, Thomas Baudoin et moi même, tire sa matière des instruments des Landes, comme la boha, les rhombes, la conque et les tulhères (sortes de trompes en écorce), mais aussi du son du feu, des vibrations des tronçonneuses, et des pépiements des oiseaux. L'énergie de la musique a pris naissance dans ce que nous ont inspiré les images et la BO du film Sirāt, où le désert qui y figure fait écho à cette forêt landaise en péril. Une question de temps ? une seule certitude au bout du compte, ici la forêt reviendra.

" Aci la seuva tornarà"  est le thème principal de cette BO, thème dont on a décliné ensuite tous les éléments pour fabriquer la musique du documentaire.

Hot maroon (TURTLE CHALLENGE)

This song was written after a mushroom trip in Crystal Palace Park. It was a few weeks before Glastonbury 2023, a stunning summer's day. I wanted to write a song which captured the mood of that afternoon. We ended up lying down in the grass in front of the stage which has been home to so many amazing gigs, listening to music. I'll always remember it as the day that Laura and I discovered that we were obsessed with the War on Drugs song "Thinking of a Place". If you haven't heard, please listen it's a masterpiece. it's a day that will live long in memory. Laura also painted a picture based on a photo we took as we were leaving the park. It's now framed and on my wall in the room where I write all of my songs.

DANAZAR is a Colombian producer who refuses to be boxed into any fixed label. His journey began with dubstep and drum & bass, but over the years he has expanded his sonic universe into techno, tech house, and more extreme sounds like hardtechno and acidcore.

He doesn’t commit to any subgenre—each track is a sonic betrayal and a manifesto of creative freedom. His approach is surgical, visceral, and always focused on provoking a raw, authentic rave experience. DANAZAR fuses advanced production techniques with Latin roots and a rebellious stance toward the industry. While some artists stay loyal to a single style, he prefers to cheat on them all and reinvent himself with every release.

Supported by artists like Mha Iri, his music has been featured in international playlists and sets. His sound is in constant mutation, tied together by one thread: futuristic rituals crafted for the body, the dancefloor, and the mind.

Membre fondateur d'Artús (Rock In opposition / Gascogne), j'ai sillonné les routes de France, d'Europe et du monde pendant 22 ans et donné à entendre le chant traditionnel de Gascogne (Béarn et Landes) dans divers contextes (festivals de tous types et de toutes tailles, Smac, squats, café concerts, centre d'art contemporain, salle des fêtes...) et sous diverses formes (concerts, bals, performances, expérimentations sonores, installations, improvisations...).

J'ai fait partie de nombreux groupes :

- Feiz Noz Moc'h, fest noz brut gascon/breton

J'ai fait partie de trois collectifs et compagnie mutualisant nos moyens et nos compétences dans la plus pure tradition du DIY (Do It Yourself) :
- Collectif Ça-i, membre fondateur depuis 2005
- Compagnie Hart Brut, depuis 2011
- La Nòvia, depuis 2011

Avec Artús, nous avons créé notre propre label de musique en 2009, Pagans, label de musiques enracinées pour sortir nos propres productions et aussi ouvrir le catalogue aux nombreux artistes dans les mêmes esthétiques. https://pagans.bandcamp.com/

Bref, nous avons déployé tous les moyens nécessaires à simplement exister dans un panorama culturel peu ouvert aux musiques traditionnelles et à l'expérimentation contemporaine.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai décidé pour de multiples raisons d'arrêter de jouer sur scène et de me poser tout seul dans la création et la production de musique chez moi, dans mon home studio, tel un artisan. Je suis polyinstrumentiste (violon, flûte à trois trous, tambourin à cordes, guitare, piano) et chanteur, je pratique les musiques traditionnelles de chez moi et n'hésite jamais à les confronter aux pratiques expérimentales et contemporaines et je maîtrise les outils de studio (Cubase, Ableton Live, Reason) et ses techniques (enregistrement, mixage, mastering).

C'est donc tout naturellement que je propose des services de composition et de création de musique ou de bande son pour l'audiovisuel (clip promotion, documentaire, film), pour l'événementiel (expo, évènement...), pour le spectacle vivant (théâtre, danse, jeune public) ou le jeu vidéo (musique, sound design...).
