Excited to release my opening set for TIËSTO at the Greenpoint Waterfront in New York City. It was an incredible day in Brooklyn for a 5000 person sold out show! In this mix, I warmed up the crowd with euphoric, vocal progressive and  melodic house tracks, including a few of my own... perfect for Sunday daytime set before the Godfather of EDM. I also had the honor of headlining the afterparty where I went a bit deeper and darker. Rumor has it that was recorded too.

Clarity

With a musical upbringing and parents influences from Disco to Motown and reggae, I started mixing in 2011 with a pair of technics 1210s and a handful of Drum and Bass Vinyl in her bedroom. She eventually taught herself to beat match. 
After many years of practice, I started to venture into the house music scene, realising the absolute vastness and flexibility of the genre. I got my first booking out of my bedroom at Mercy in Norwich through mentor and friend Leroy ( @Levelupleroy ) and started to eventually get opportunities to play out more, in time leading to hosting and playing at regular nights locally in Norwich, and setting up the @lovehouse brand. 
It wasn’t really until 2021 and spending time with like minded friends mixing that I started to take mixes to the next level, exploring more sub genres and now venturing on to hold some heavyweight achievements in being a proud member of the @Kucacollective team, learning to promote events, presenting and hosting a show on @selectradio and most recently setting up @incognito - Getting a chance to return to the Drum and bass scene once again. 

Suga’s style is Layering tracks to make different sounds and unexpected mixes using vocal hooks to get you dancing. Her passion is a dirty baseline!

Long before he ever became a DJ, Alastair James knew trance to be as vital as the very air he breathes. It therefore comes as no surprise how quickly the San Francisco native has found his voice as a storyteller, leading the vibrant first act in an electronic music tale of his own.

The moment Alastair sets foot behind the decks, the world around him gives way to an ever-changing cadence of sound and emotion. His skills caught the attention of Niko Zografos early on, opening doors at the onset of his career. His style of uplifting and tech trance has moved crowds at destinations like Ruby Skye, 1015 Folsom and Exchange LA in addition to the worldwide listeners who tune in for his Trancesion mix series.

Although no stranger to techno, progressive house, or even drum and bass, Alastair James exhibits an unmistakable connection to trance that no fair-weather fan could hope to imitate. At times when it felt like he had nothing left, this music and the community surrounding it gave him the courage to carry on. It’s only fair, he feels, that he pays it forward by giving each member of the audience hope through whatever challenges may come their way.
