Rob is a multi-genre DJ based in Dublin, Ireland, with a love first and foremost for Classic Trance. He fell in love with trance during the golden period of 1998 - 2005 and tracks from this era provide inspiration for many of his mixes. Rob plays tracks from right across the trance spectrum - progressive, vocal and uplifting through to hard trance. 

Having wanted to try and learn how to DJ for many years but never finding the right time to start, Rob decided during covid lockdown to invest in equipment and begin learning to play and mix the tunes he loves. 

In addition to trance, Rob also mixes Progressive House Classics and occasionally modern Techno.

Rob regularly uploads mixes to his SoundCloud page and has also recently started streaming live on Twitch.

Here's a little introduction from Lance:

So I started dj'ing a year ago after I read a book called Energy Flash about UK rave culture from the late 80s to the late 2000s. In this book, I got a deeper understanding of genres such as Techno, UK Garage, Jungle/Drum 'n' bass, Progressive House, Gabber, IDM, and Breakbeat Hardcore to name a few. However, Trance is the genre with which I felt the strongest connection. After having listened to numerous mixes by Tiesto and Paul Oakenfold from the late 90s and early 2000s, I decided that I wanted to mix this kind of music because I liked the massive euphoric journey it brought into. So to this day, I'm still seeking the rarest classic trance gems in order to provoke the most powerful reactions

I’ve been an avid trance classics fan since I was no older than 10 years of age. Was always fascinated by my older brother who was always djing both vinyl and digital. 

Back about 10 years ago I bought his decks and mixer off him cdj 1000s and a djm 800 then 2 years later his vestax pdx 2000s. 

Been a small bit of an obsession since. I’ve amassed quite a large record collection since ranging from hard house to progressive house and balaeric trance to acid techno.
