Indefinite Pitch PREMIERES. Adhémar - Dusk On The Cliffs [Pregnant Void]

Berlin and Lisbon's collaborative event series, Art Bei Ton, lifts the veil on its third release, "Some Sacred Grounds." This compilation explores the world of ritualistic sounds, featuring eight international artists who traverse a spectrum of intensity over the course of seven tracks, ranging from hushed ambient whispers to deep techno pulsations.

Our premiere showcases two artists revered by Delayed: Adhémar and Toki Fuko. Teaming up, they craft a nine-and-a-half-minute "seaweed techno voyage" – a low-slung groove that constantly morphs with intricate details. The rhythmic interplay between their percussion sequences is quite hypnotic, keeping the tribalistic energy flowing without ever getting stale.
Adhémar and Toki Fuko's "Dialogue" sets the perfect mood – ideal for an opening set at dawn or a smooth transition from ambient passages into chuggy rhythms.

'Some Sacred Grounds,' is due July 16, featuring very exciting works.

In 2045, researchers at MindTech discovered an anomaly in neural networks used for direct data transmission into the human brain. They called this phenomenon “Phantom Scripts” — mysterious glitches in the code that activate when a person falls asleep or closes their eyes. Deprived of visual stimuli, the brain becomes more receptive and starts responding to internal impulses from the neuro-interface, generating unexpected images and phrases, as if creating messages from the void.

Analysis revealed that these scripts are particularly active during deep sleep or meditation, when the mind is most vulnerable to external influence, as though an intelligent force is attempting to communicate through the subconscious. What lies behind these messages and why they appear remains unknown. Perhaps the answers are hidden in the darkness itself.

The time has come to unveil the label's next release in cassette and digital
format. The aim of the ACCENTAPE series is to bring two artistic worlds
together, to give the listener a sense of the echoes and resonances between
musical approaches whose aesthetics are either not so far apart, or on the
contrary, sometimes to play on contrasts and offer albums with more depth. For
this new release, it's more a question of two worlds criss-crossing and meeting
in a softness and light of musical tones made of complementarity and
chromatic sensitive reverberations.
Avsluta is a London-based artist, producer and DJ, curator of the Introspective
Electronics radio show and podcast series and organiser of Terra Obscura
parties with 10 years under her belt at London’s electronic music institution
Phonica Records. Apart from her solo work, she is one half of Vādin, a musical
project in collaboration with sound artist Christian Duka. She has released
music on Indefinite Pitch, Secuencias Temporales and Huinali, and her musical
approach is both atmospheric and organic, including field-recording and
vocals, tribal and polyrhythmic percussion. Her signature sound is organic,
sensitive and bewitching.
Adhémar is a Paris-based artist, painter, producer and DJ whose approach is
deliberately synaesthetic, in which he translates pictorial and coloured
sensations into ethereal and dreamlike waves. He is also known for his
progressive and delicate DJ sets, notably for renowned series such as
Monument, Silent Season, Delayed, and has released EPs on labels such as
Different Exhibition, Huinali, Initiate, Ritualism, Artscope...
ACCENTAPE009 is an ideal shared album for this new spring season which
promises to be sunny and mild, like the budding of trees, the return of birds,
and the flowering of nature.

HL Premiere : Adhémar - The Scent of Wind [Accents Records]

ACCENTAPE returns with its ninth release, continuing the series’ mission to connect artistic worlds through sound—sometimes by highlighting similarities, other times by leaning into contrast. This time, it’s a meeting in the middle. ACCENTAPE009 is a delicate convergence of tones, textures, and moods—chromatic, soft-edged, and deeply felt. The release pairs London-based Avsluta—known for her organic, atmospheric productions and deeply curated selections behind the decks—with Parisian producer and visual artist Adhémar, whose work channels color and form into weightless, meditative sound. Together, they offer a slow-blooming album that feels perfectly in tune with the season’s quiet shifts: tender light, budding branches, and long, patient days.

Our premiere today is “Black Mamba”—a track that doesn’t bite, but glides. It opens with a haunting spoken-word passage, almost ceremonial in tone, a whisper of myth and power that gradually dissolves into an airy ambient wash. The stillness stretches and morphs, giving way to a restrained tribal rhythm that pulses beneath the surface, guiding the track forward with hypnotic subtlety. Just when it seems to vanish into the ether, melancholic strings emerge, soft but striking—another layer of identity for the Black Mamba, both queenly and ghostlike. It’s a slow spell, not a strike.
