God has at various seasons of our lives appointed us to adversity. There is no use regretting it. God's will is that we shine in darkness for our Savior, the light of the world. The deacon Stephen, through no fault of his own, ended up in a morass of adversity. He was appointed to be the catalyst of God's accomplishment of world missions. Through this adversity, God was with Stephen each step of the way. We worship the same God as Stephen did. We can expect that God's appointments in our calendars are for his good and that he will be with us.

The Healing Power of Music
