Глубиной момента

Прохожу сквозь  
     копчёный закат

Между материальным  
и духовным —

для невесомого

Войти в глубокие слои

For their 7th EP, Art Bei Ton invites the great Colombian DJ, producer, and mastering engineer Red Noise for a deep and hypnotic sonic journey. This 5-track EP explores subtle variations and magnetic grooves, blending Red Noise’s signature sound design with the label’s refined aesthetic. Among the tracks, one stands out as a unique collaboration with the Peruvian artist Andrea Zapata, as well as a remix  by the Berlin-based ABT label head Hypnotic Black Magic.

The journey opens with an ambient and atmospheric piece, “Río Ancho,” unfolding into a delicate floating mood—weightless and nostalgic—gently preparing the listener for deeper layers to come.

Shifting into a 85 BPM half-tempo groove, the second track, 'Pulse Drift' builds a bouncy and fluid up-and-down rhythmic flow, somehow bringing the sensation of running in slow motion.

'Aether', the EP’s title track, evokes a transcendent dimension. Hypnotic and uplifting, it unfolds through pulsating patterns and evolving textures, radiating a sense of elevation and forward momentum.

Collaboration with Peruvian artist Andrea Zapata, “1996,” is a deep and powerful tune, building tension and release, merging her distinctive sonic textures with hypnotic grooves to create an intense, immersive experience.

Closing the release, Hypnotic Black Magic delivers a transformative remix of “Aether.” Expansive and trippy, the reinterpretation weaves dynamic, ritualistic-influenced rhythms with vibrant atmospheres.

i dont rlly have anything to say about this. when i made it i was honestly just trying to express my ether in the purest way possible for me, which is music. I didnt add words and i didnt use a 4/4 standard timing because i didnt want any limitations in how i could express myself i wanted the song to be completely me and my soul. The singing/humming is completely improvised and first take since i wanted to make it as authentic as possible, i tend to get super perfectionist and completely change everything i make and if i know others will see it i change it for them aswell, i didnt want to end up doing that for this i wanted it to be completely my own. The birds in the beginning were recorded from my phone on my daily bike ride home, i added it because whenever im on my bike in the woods by myself i feel completely free and myself, at peace, and i wanted to put that feeling into the song. The cover is of a place i go to by myself whenever i feel sad or i want to think or i just want to be at peace and see a nice view (there r cool cows there), sometimes i go there just to scream as loud as i can because of how empty it is, its another place i feel completely free and myself without judgement so i made it the cover, I got the idea to do this from "all about lily chou chou" where they describe what ether is and i tried to replicate that in real life but i cant really explain here what ether really is so i think if anybody reads this you should watch the movie "all about lily chou chou" to understand what ether means to you.. the movie is really good and it has really really good music too. I hope somebody can enjoy this thingy ive crudely made

I am KAT. Poet, musician, experimental artist and curator of voices.
I stand at the edge between silence and sound,
between intimacy and confrontation.

Art Bei Ton is an artistic project focusing on merging electronic music and visual arts, though the promotion of events, podcast series and a label.  

Organizing events in Berlin and Europe since 2018, our goal is to create some immersive experiences, offering Hypnotic Techno/Ambient DJ sets and live acts, together with VJing, art exhibition, interactive audio-visual installations, performances, panels and workshops.  

Curating international artists, we want to embrace more inclusivity in the scene through the promotion of diverse and gender-balanced line ups. It is important for us to highlight female artists, queer actors of our community and fight together against all kinds of discrimination.

From the start of the 1990’s Captain Knuckles started collecting vinyls and made mixes for fun. Knuckles was influenced by various styles of music in which he learned new technics in mixing and got more productive in producing. The Captain’s aim was to get familiar with the 2000’s night life in Budapest and the underground street culture. He began to play in front of audiences at illegal parties around 2010. These parties were called IllFest, which gained recognition from Mixmag and other media presses. From this point on his life changed. 

Recently Captain Knuckles has been playing in well known clubs all around Budapest such as A38, Cinema Hall, Corvin Club, Akvarium Club. Has also played at great festivals in Hungary as B my Lake and Balaton Sound Festival at lake Balaton, Sziget Festival at Óbudai Island and many more. He has played at clubs with artists such as Nick Curly, Chris Carrier, Reboot, Robert Babicz, Butch, Karotte, Sascha Dive, Nakadia, Super Flu, Alex Picone, Daniel Bortz etc. But where his heart really belongs is Aether Club, where he’s a resident since it’s opened in 2015 December. He often plays at series called RAW which are always tip-topper because of it’s chaning thematics and special sound. Earlier, from 2012 he became a resident for Citymatiné which is an open air - daytime party series based in Budapest Hungary, also runned by the guys who established Aether Club. Citymatiné is moving around the city’s best open air venues and playing the smoothest of music. The residents of the series beside Captain Knuckles are the well known Dj Sobek and the Monolit duo. They also invites other talented hungarian DJs, and from the third season internationally renowned guests such as La Fleur, Sebo K, Gorge, Cassy, Bas Ibellini, Dewalta, Cesar Merveille. The citymatiné crew is also famous for their sessions, they’re making tapes at the rummest places in Budapest.
