This is a song that was written with the thought in mind of the recent discoveries of the many sites of unmarked graves of residential schools all across Canada. In honour of the perished in these horrible schools of death, abuse and forced assimilation; we CHÜZO dedicate this song to the memory of all the murdered and the missing that never had the chance to return home to their loving families. We hope that this song someway, somehow; gives a moral retribution of sort to the family members and to the survivors, as well as, aligning ourselves with the majority of Canadians that beg, cry and scream for justice to be done and to hold the Canadian government and the catholic church accountable for their actions and lack of transparency. May all those children rest in peace.

This track represents a new chapter and a rebirth for CHÜZO. Since our last release in April 2022, much has happened in the CHÜZO camp; nonetheless; none of the betrayals, obstacles, internet fallacies, and genuine attempts to "cancel" the name of CHÜZO have succeeded in killing CHÜZO. If anything, they have only succeeded in fuelling, driving and inspiring CHÜZO to become a better version of CHÜZO. Thus; new members, new drive, new anger, new sound. New Single!

This single is a lyrically re-written and much better produced version of "Got Punched" from the first E.P. "Land of Anger". The lyrics of the original song were always meant to be disposable; why?; it was just a matter of time before a proper vocalist/singer with a proper passion for writing passionate lyrics would appear in our radar, and lo and behold, we came across and welcomed our new singer: David Alexander Vieira. We offered him a fresh canvas for this song for him to express whatever he wanted so to expose his richness and talent for lyrical content with meaning and depth.

Along with the incredible contribution of our new bass player Camilo Novoa and the fantastic drumming of drummer extraordinaire Jon Di Lalla; with the next level production wizardry of Kevin Jardine at Uplift Recordings; CHÜZO is now possessed with a new fire inside and ready to crush all opposition in our way.
This new song is our first official audio shotgun blast to all our beloved haters!

With "PAGES", we have now turned the page to a new chapter for CHÜZO. May the past be the past; burned and buried.

This EP marks the continuation of what began in the middle of the world lock-down in 2020. In between watching too much news, too many Tarantino films, realizing that the common working person was more poorer today than before the pandemic started and that the rich got disgustingly more richer afterwards; and as well as with dealing with personal betrayals and internet fallacies; in between all of this tsunami of stress; this EP was conceived; with all of these personal emotions that anguish, anger, sadness, despair and rage represented to CHÜZO the actual act of living, breathing and existing in the year 2022: Gun violence, personal betrayals, poverty, political turmoil and much more.

This EP also marks a new chapter in the story of CHÜZO, A new chapter that is filled with hope and excitement for the future and from this point on they will be no looking back.

We thank everyone involved whom gave us support, inspired us and validated us into continuing this musical project no matter the barriers and resistance, personal attacks and attempted sabotages that many other people tried to throw our way; just to get deflected and denied of their intentions to bury this band. Guess what; you failed!

Nonetheless, the act of dedicating your life for revenge will drive you into a hardened and lonely life in the end. One needs to know when and how to forgive; but never forget.

Emerging from the Canadian capital of metal, Montreal, QC, Canada, CHÜZO is hitting the scene and beyond with a new EP entitled "M.T.M.D (Maximum Threshold, Minimum Decay)" to mark the latest chapter and a true representation of what their sound was meant to be with the fresh new lineup who are hungry to showcase what this forthcoming record will spark.
Featuring three tour de force tracks produced by Kevin Jardine (Slaves On Dope), the EP is a full audio assault upon all the senses from the heavy riffs to the soaring vocals of Brazilian transplant and new vocalist Mischa M. She is joined by local first generation Chilean Canadian and mastermind Cristian S. along with Carlos G from Venezuela and Alex S from Russia whom all have found Montreal, Canada to be home to breed their self-described 'Aggro Metal'
