I'm on my way over!

A failed experiment with the new Suno feature. The "persona" was saved from a song which was sung by a duet (alternating male and female voices) I did not think that it would allow me to get a duet, random ocurrence only in my experience with Suno. I was right, the use of a persona produced a female vocal only. 
However, I found I liked this song and the arrangement. I don't know if I am getting into a rut with the AI but a few of my latest offerings have been very similar in their production. I am seeing a minimalist beginning to the song with the last minute or so seeing lots of magic. More instruments, vocals with a difference and a crescendo before the short ending going back to the same minimalist style.
I like it, maybe I communicate that to the AI and it is presenting it back to me,But do listen to the end, even if you jump by clicking on the wave form.
Oh BTW, the persona should have been a male/female duet, I called Just-In-Love. I am having fun naming these for Suno's use.

I have Nothing To Say (Just-In-Love)

After explaing about the new Suno feature, "persona" and uploading a track that failed to live up to expectation (see "Lost In Silence), I was able to generate a track which created a duet (alternating male/female vocals) which satisfied me.and I felt worked, to a point. Although I used tags to identify which sections/lines were sung by the "duetists" or both, the AI still randomised them to a certain extent. But I think I got what I wanted in the end. 

This duet (Suno requires a name for the personas) I called Just-In-Love. If Suno wants a name, Suno gets one; Just having a little fun withe the names.

Our Love Will Last

Just reviewing the ealier tracks with Suno and came across this song. I remember writing this whilst waitin in the car for my wife who was shopping. 
When I write lyrics, I usually sing them over to myself to get the verses so that their lyrics scan the same. I also helps me to, in return. to write the lyrics and develop ideas. This provides a lyric with what is called Prosody. And the melody often follows the rise and fall (in pitch) as the words are spoken. Which maybe not surprisingly, is ofter closely matched by the AI. In any case the melodies often match what I had in mind, although obviously not exactly.
Hope you like this little ditty,  a happy ending for once.

You're Home Again

One of the problems I have with Suno that it provides so many variations of genre and style that I cannot choose from. Yes there are songs which simply don't meet my expectations. Maybe not what I expected or nor sifficiently like my original idea. I only generated one iteration of this track (that meant two - often - dissimilar) variations. This marginally got my vote, although the duet came a very close second.  But I guess as far as uploading to Soundcloud is concerned I have to choose only one. I do however sometimes download several versions from Suno, for my personal listening pleasure. Maybe one of these days I will upload a raft of different approaches for one song and create a playlist of "variations".

This track is a poem (see below), written by myself in a brief period where I forsook songs for poetry. Something which I did to widen the scope and subjects I was writing about.

Anyway, I asked Suno for something, musical with Irish roots, and suitable to remember a dear old lady who had recently passed away.

I was presented with the usual multiple choices and worked on splicing two of them together in Audacity. My skill with that software needs to be improved by lots of practice, so here is my first attempt. I hope to be able to do better and replace this track soon.

In the meantime I hope you like the poem and the tune.

For Ellen (in memory)

A grand old age, they all said so
But still it hurt to see her go.
And in the end, Not taking long;
So short a time To move along.

Leaving behind this vale of tears,
Family and friends made through the years.
