Esa Tiene Un Algo nace en el 2001 en Madrid, en el seno de la Facultad de Ciencias de la UAM, donde dos jóvenes estudiantes de física comenzaron a componer canciones a sus compañeros de clase y dar asiduos conciertos en La Flauta Mágica, mítico local ya desaparecido de la calle Alcántara de Madrid.

Con el tiempo, se van incorporando nuevos miembros a la banda y a componer temas más elaborados.

Las canciones de Esa Tiene Un Algo tienen una poderosa base de blues, edulcorados con una personalidad punk de letras sin complejos y unos rifs que surfean sin salpicar sobre estrofas melódicas, dándole un toque  pretencioso a un sonido The Beatles. 

En 2023, vuelven a grabar sus principales temas junto con nuevos y vuelven a los escenarios. 

Los directos de Esa Tiene Un Algo son contundentes, frescos y definitivamente divertidos.

Esa Tiene Un Algo was born in 2001 in Madrid, within the Faculty of Sciences of the UAM, where two young physics students began to compose songs for their classmates and give regular concerts at La Flauta Mágica, the disappeared legendary venue from Alcántara Street in Madrid.

Over time, new members join the band and compose more elaborate songs.

The songs of Esa Tiene Un Algo have a powerful blues base, sweetened with a punk personality of unapologetic lyrics and riffs that surf without splashing over melodic verses, giving a pretentious touch to The Beatles sound.
